"Hey, hey, hey are you okay?" a lady beside, was shaking my shoulders to wake me. I started to squint my eyes from the harsh fairy lights above me.
"errr" I murmur under my breathe, rubbing the back of my head.
I looked around and there were so many people crowded around me, my hands were getting numb and sweaty curse my heart...was beating rapidly against my own chest.
"Lili, Lili hey !" I could hear a familiar male voice calling out to me
The silhouette came close to view it was Spencer, as he made his way over to me on the ground. Great I thought, this is so embarrassing I cursed myself under my breathe at how pathetic I must now look.
"Oh crap Lili, I was wondering where you went off to, I turned around and couldn't see you behind me" he said in a scrambled heap.
I almost couldn't make out what he had said. But I could see the look he was giving me, was he concerned for me? a small smile crept it's way to my lips.
He looked me over and couldn't see that anything was wrong and decided to help pull me up from my uncomfortable, seated position on the grass. When I held his hand it was surprisingly warm and nice to touch, thinking about that made my face flush yet again. Not only was I dealing with an embarrassing situation of fainting on the ground IN front of an audience...but the boy who dresses as a bear was now helping me up and holding my hand. This was too much for my unsocialized heart to take. I was blushing like oh dear lord help me...like an idiot.
He then half dragged me away from the sea of people, when the coast was clear we let go of each others hands. I looked back at the crowd that had gathered around me earlier, curious as to why a random girl fainted, I sighed as they were now going back to whatever they were all doing earlier, selling food, buying toys and playing the arcades and so on.
"Are you alright?" Spencer's voice broke me out of my train of thoughts.
"Uh, yeah, yeah I'm okay"
He lowered his gaze onto me not seeming too convinced, the silence between us made me cower a tad bit and I took in a short breathe. Biting my lip before replying to him again sounding annoyed rather than thankful to him, for caring about me.
"Really Spencer, I am okay" I sniffled rubbing the tip of my nose a bit, hoping my flushed cheeks wouldn't embarrass me any further.
"That's good" he let out a sigh and continued,
"Don't have me so worried okay?" he nudged me on the side
I half smiled at him and thankful he didn't press on, to be honest even I do not recall what exactly happened.
We headed to a station nearby to get ourselves a soda and me a water, Spencer was adamant that water is what I needed and a bit of sugar. He was thankful that I didn't hurt my head, it seems from the intel Spencer collected from the gossip of my fall earlier, someone had caught me before I fainted.
That someone...no one seems to recall what they had looked like. Which is rather odd but to my dismay, I was feeling anxious about my sudden fainting. This has never happened to me before, I probably need to call my doctor later and update them about this.
Spencer came back to me with a water in one hand and candy floss in the other, his can of coke was already open in his mouth.
I chuckled slightly and grabbed onto my recovery goodies, he called it.
