She parked Rosey just outside of the gate, she anticipated that the mist would clear very soon and the sun would surely make the day warmer.
"I will just get Kylo into the house and then, I will show you around inside".
Her figure made its way into the home, with Kylo not far behind her. I stared at the house, it was a two story cottage home, and looked to be just over one hundred years old.
Nature was kind to the cottage home, as the vines and plants from the garden complimented every detail beautifully.
Not something you often see in Westerns City, other than sky scrapers, apartments and tightly gripped homes, that you can hear every discussion your neighbor is sharing with someone on the phone.
The sounds of vehicles, tooting non-stop, people shouting, loud music, city lights and all that jazz.
This home, had it's own freedom. Neighbors are still close by, but not too close where you felt suffocated.
Something I'll have to get used too I thought to myself
"You're gonna catch a cold, standing there too long", she said.
She grabbed one of my suitcases. I lunged the much heavier suitcase out of the old beat up truck.
Kylo came rushing back outside, tugging at my jeans with her paws, then leaving me alone to my thoughts as she raced back inside after Kera.
I threw my bag over my shoulder, and picked up my black suitcase.
"Home sweet home", I muttered to myself.
I opened the door, the home looked different from the outside. Bright colours, and luminescent lighting were neatly placed.
"Leave your shoes on, for now" Kera's voice came from inside, as she appeared in vision at the door.
Listening to her command, I stood awkwardly with my large suitcase, duffle bag and back pack, staring at the new environment.
"Come, come" she gestured to me, to come into the cozy cottage.
"I hope you don't mind.......but I already took your suitcase in your room, leave this one down here, we'll bring it up later" she added
Feeling half glad, that she couldn't see how much I struggled to lunge my suitcase out of Rosey, and into the cottage.
"Follow me, I'll show you where you will be staying" as she went up a flight of stairs.
I looked at Kylo who gave me a small bark, and went into another room. Which I assumed to be the kitchen.
