((What does it mean?))

Oli's POV

Joe got up as soon as the bell went and stomped off out of the door into the corridor.

The class, like usual, waited for Joe to completely disappear into the doorway.

I put all my things into my bag and stood up.

A white crumbled piece of paper caught my eye.

It was located right next to joes chair. I picked it up and read it.

Deep,deep underground lies the crystals,
Hard to find but easy to keep,
I may cry and play rugby,
But I'm only a man who wants to leap,
But the darkness overthrows me.

Deep.

There is one man who has to see this piece of poetry.

That male goes by the name Caspar.

I walked into the corridor and straight away my eyes found a blonde haired boy. I walked over to him.

"Caspar!" I yelled. He looked up and skipped over to me.

No. He literally skipped.

"Heey Oli!!!" Caspar waved.

"Read this." I passed over the paper ball and Caspar opened it.

" Deep,deep underground lies the crystals, that could mean like you have to give deep to find kindness or something.
Hard to find but easy to keep, its hard for him to let you in.
I may cry and play rugby, this shows that he is talking about himself.
But I'm only a man who wants to leap, this means that he longs to laugh and leap and stuff.
But the darkness overthrows me. This means that something is stopping him but I'm not sure what." Capsar told me.

"Deep right?" I pointed out.

"Yep. I'm gonna make it my duty to find out about this boy." Caspar promised.

"Good luck." I chuckled.

"I may need that." He winked, "Oli? Why did Joe turn like this and how?"

"Capsar, let me explain...

It was one day a few years ago, we were in the end of year assembly and Joe had been working so hard. He wanted to win the award for best child. The look on joes face when the teacher got out the envelope.
"Our winner this year is...Zoë Sugg."
Joes face dropped and he ran out of the assembly.
I followed him and found him on some stairs rubbing his eyes. He looked as if he was crying.
He told me, "Oli. Please don't worry about me. I just want to tell you that I..."
Just at that very moment Alfie ran in and saw Joe and I. He Told us to hurry up with our little girly chat and get into the hall and congratulate Zoë.
I heard Joe mutter, "Watch your tounge Alfie."
Then he got up and walked casually onto the hall. Everyone were out of their seats and joes parents were hugging Zoë. They were saying things like, "You are one of a kind!" Or "Zoë you are my fave."
Joe completely lost it in front of them.
He was screaming at his parents and they were trying to calm him. The whole hall went silent.
"You are one hideous mother." Joe screamed right in her face.
His mother told him to calm down and say sorry to Zoë but that made everything worse.
"Zoë this! Zoë that! Yeah Zoë is the best!" Joe screamed.
Zoë was starting to get upset so Alfie rushed over to her and Gave her the biggest hug that you have ever seen.
"Joe. Dude, do you want to grab some pizza?" I winked at him.
He stopped shouting and screaming.
He turned to his mother and stood on her foot..hard.
Joe then stormed out again and the rest of the sugg family followed.
The thing that happened after is not to be talked about.
The next day he ignored us all.
The next day he hung out with us but don't say a word.
The next day he turned into the monster we have today.

And that's what happened Caspar." I explained, "I never got to know what he was going to tell me that day."

"oh. Okaaay. Anyhooo, I need to be off oli. Got to...meet mum." He told me as if he was unsure, "See ya tomozzzzzy!!!!"
