We got in bed...

--two months later--

"Harry! My period! It's late!"

I yelled to Harry who was downstairs minding James. Then he appeared in the doorway staring at me with a little light dancing in his eyes. He left me to mind James for a little bit and then came back saying

"Here take this."

He was holding a pregnancy test in his hand. I was not surprised. We had done it two months ago because we knew that James may want a playmate soon. I peed on the stick and the results came out...

POSITIVE

I called Harry and he saw the stick in my hand and came from behind me so he could see it. Then he hugged my gently from behind. He said

"We'll go see the muggle doctor tomorrow."

--Tomorrow--

I was in the waiting room with Harry. I was sitting on his lap. We had left James with Mrs. Weasley she was kind enough to offer to watch and take care of James while we went to the hospital to confirm that I was pregnant.

"Hermione Potter"

A nurse in a light blue uniform called. Harry and I got up and followed her. Harry lightly squeezed my hand. We followed her into a brightly lit room. The nurse gave me a cup. She opened her mouth to say something when I said

"I know what to do. Where is it?"

So she showed me to the lavatory. I went in and peed in the cup. Then Harry and I went back to the waiting room for the results. I was sitting on Harry's lap again and he was stroking my hair. After a while the same nurse came out and said

"Hermione Potter"

Again we followed her into a room this time a doctor was inside. He looked very nice. But there was also another nice looking woman sitting in there too. She was wearing a doctors' coat too.

"Hello, you must be Mrs.Potter. I am Dr.Destler. And this is Dr.Rossum."

"Hello"

Harry and I said. I shifted nervously in my chair. Harry squeezed my hand again as if to try to calm my nerves.

"Well, congratulations! You are pregnant Mrs. Potter."

My eyes widened at the news and Harry simply beamed and hugged me gently. Then Dr. Destler told me that Dr.Rossum will do my ultra sound in four months. She was smiling as she said

"I'll see you in four months!"

Harry and I walked out and apperated to the Burrow. Molly met us there with a big smile. We told her the news and she hugged me. She told us that Ron and Lavender were in the living room with James. We went in to see Ron and Ron looked up and smiled at Harry

"So, mate. What's up?"

Molly had told them why she was watching James.

"She is!"

Harry said sounding delighted. Ron looked at me and congratulated me. I looked back at him and said

"Thanks?"

And Harry laughed. Then James toddled up and looked up at Harry and raised his arms and said

"Daddy!"

Harry smiled and picked him up. He looked at James and said

"How is my little man doing?"

And before James could answer, Mrs.Weasley came bustling in and said
