Hogwarts Express

We were at Kings cross station in front of the barrier. James didn't want to admit it but Harry and I knew he was scared. Harry and I decided the order we will go in. Harry will go through first with Albus and then James will go through. Then I will follow with Lily and Lilly. So Harry got a little alone time with James because he was nervous. I had to make sure we didn't lose any of the kids. Then Someone came up behind me and said

"Hey Mione."

I jumped. But then I smiled. Without turning around I said

"I know your voice Ronald Weasley. And what brings you here? You have to wait three more years until Hugo can go."

He turned me around so I was facing him and said with a pouty face

"What, I can't see my two best mate's kid off?"

Harry came back and said

"Ron! Why are you here mate?"

"Seeing James off."

he said looking annoyed. Harry looked at him puzzled but shrugged it off. He then looked at me. I slightly nodded and then he called to Albus. They walked over to the barrier and casually leaned against it. They went through. Then James, looking scared ran toward it with closed eyes. He disappeared. Then Ron went through with Lily and I went through with Lilliana. We met again at the other side of the barrier. We had one more conversation with James.

"Promise you'll write me?"

"Of course, everyday if you want us to."

"No, not everyday just maybe once every other week."

he sighed and gave each of  us a big hug and got on the train. He yelled

"Lily and Lilly! You send me owls too OK?"

"Sure!"

They yelled back.

James pov

I waved at my parents and my siblings as the express started chugging away. But something was weird dad seemed to disappear. I found a compartment to sit in and soon Mei joined me. Then later so did Teddy. We had conversations. Especially about houses. I hoped to be in Gryffindor like my parents. Teddy who was older than both of us was already in Gryffindor. Mei wanted to be in Ravenclaw like her mother. Then we met Scorpius. He just stood in the doorway of our compartment.  He saw me in there though so he just left. Then a girl passed by. She then backed up and beckoned two people farther down the hallway.

Two other girls joined her as she opened the door to our compartment. She said with a sneer

"Oh look here, it's a Pottyhead, a half-blood, and the wolf's child."

"Shut it Samantha."

Teddy said. But she mocked

"Ooooh the wolf child just growled at us! Grrr, grrrrr."

Teddy pulled his wand out but I was too quick for him.

Levicorpus!

I am so happy dad taught me how to do that spell and mum taught me how to cast it silently. Samantha flew up and was hanging by her ankle. The two girls next to her lifted their wands,

"Oh no you don't Mackenzie and Ima. Expelliarmus!"

Their wands, which were pointed right at me, soared out of their hands and into Teddy's. I held my wand out with Samantha still in the air and took her all the way to the other side of the train, threw her into a empty compartment and ran back to where Mei and Teddy were sitting. They stared. They didn't know how I did that because they didn't know any spells and how to do them silently.

Just then the snack cart came by. I bought a big stack of Cauldron Cakes, Pumpkin Pasties, and Chocolate Frogs for all of us. We all had fun sharing the food. We also traded Chocolate Frogs cards. I got Merlin and Agrippa, two of the six I didn't have. Mei got Dumbledore one of the ten she didn't have. And Teddy just got some that he already had. We had gone through almost all of the Pumpkin Pasties when another boy came in. He looked cool. He asked if he could sit with us because his brothers kicked him out of their compartment. His name turned out to be Yosef. We started talking and I found out he had three brothers, Harold, Landon, and Max. Soon Mei looked at her watch and said,

"I expect we will be arriving soon I'll go into a separate compartment so we can all change."

She left and I slipped on my robes. They were made of really good material and were very comfortable. Yosef and Teddy finished and then I went to go get Mei. She was done so she returned to the compartment with me. We were still going though the Cauldron Cakes when the train stopped so we all put the last of them in our pockets and stuffed them into our trunks, and got off the train.

As soon as we got out we heard a booming voice yelling

"Firs' years over 'ere! Firs' years this way!"

So we said goodbye to Teddy and followed Hagrid. I knew Hagrid because Mum and Dad took Lilly and Lily and me to visit him sometimes. Albus hasn't met him yet. And it turns out Mei and Yosef already knew him too. Mei's mum told her about him because her dad's a muggle, and Yosef's family was a pureblood and both his parents liked Hagrid.

"Four to a boat!"

Hagrid yelled who had a boat to himself. Mei, Yosef, and I were joined by a muggle-born half-asian girl in our boat. She introduced herself as Nora.

"Forward!"

None of us were fazed except for Nora as the boats moved forward. We started chatting about what house we wanted to be in. I wanted to be in Gryffindor, obviously because my parents were in that house. Mei wanted to be in Ravenclaw because that was the house her mom was in obviously. Yosef wanted to be in Hufflepuff because his parents were in it. And Nora wanted to be in Gryffindor with me because she thought it was the best one she heard about. We got across the lake. Once we got out of the boats Hagrid saw me and pulled me into a huge bear hug.

"Hagrid... Please... Can't... Breathe..."

I gasped. He let me go and led all of us up to the castle. He knocked on the door three times. A very good looking teacher was on the other side of them as they opened.

"The firs' years Professor Longbottom."

He said. A few students giggled at the professor's name. but then another teacher came up from behind him and yelled,

"Silence! How dare you make fun of a teacher! I am Professor Bell. I will see you at the entrance hall and I will see to it that you do not mock a teacher again or you will have detention!"

Professor Longbottom said

"Thank you Katie. Hagrid, you should get back to your hut and get some rest. You are getting on in years."

"Yes sir"

Hagrid replied and stumbled off toward the gamekeeper's hut. I gave him a pat on the back. He smiled back at me. We then followed Professor Longbottom into the Entrance Hall.

From now on, every chapter will be a different pov. The next one will be James again then the one after will be Hermione then James, Hermione, James, Hermione, and so on. Hope you enjoy the rest of my story! Please comment/vote!
