Chapter 2: The Traitor

I saw the face of Cancer. Lieing there with a look of shock over Cancer's face his pale face covered in red his long blonde hair, half covering the damage and the 2 holes, one in each eye with two lines in the shape of the sign Cancer.

I stood there for a moment looming over the body, feeling the darkness around me, as I tried not to cry. I got up and acted like I didn't know who Cancer was, "Who was the Victim?" I asked Murderer, "Don't play dumb with me you know who it is" Murderer said shaking a head in disappointment.

I rolled my eyes at Murderer, "Maybe Cancer has a look-alike" I thought as I walked away knowing it's not true, as I walked with Murderer. I remembered the times in our childhood, unlike him today he was energetic and friendly. Then gradually got lazier and lazier until he literally fell asleep.. forever.

I walked out of the house as Muderer clean the scythes, we walked back to out base, "You killed one our friends.. he didn't deserve it" I said angrily, "Shut up! Cancer deserved every bit of what he got.. he is an anchor just slowing us down.. besides we need an excuse for more time to study" Murderer suggested, "What?? You really think that's going to work?" I asked Murderer. Murderer nodded. I rolled my eyes as I left, "Remember the rules..." Murderer reminded me.

"I know" I said back, wishing I didn't agree to his deal that year ago.

11 months ago...
We killed our 2nd victim, "It was marvelous I wish you could see it for yourself, me, stabbing the guys stomach, blood ooozing out of his gut, looking at me in horror in stabbed him in the left eye. Ending half of his sight, but that wasn't the end. I took his Sorry ass, to a LITERAL wood chopper and threw his body in" Murderer described, "Oh.. how.. artistic" I said trying to sound like a compliment.

Murderer looked at me, "What's wrong?" Murderer asked, "Well.. here you are killing people left and right, just because, how do I know you won't kill My friends?" I asked Murderer. Murderer crossed arms, "But why would I kill My friends if they are your friends.. alright I promise" Murderer said, "Pinky swear?" I asked. Murderer stared at me as if I was an alien, "Really? We're not 4" Murderer complained. I sighed, "Alright fine, no special promise" I said.

Murderer sighed as Murderer showed a pinky through a fingerless glove. I gladly wrapped my pinky around Murderer's, "Thank you" I said. Murderer walked away, "No..Problem". I actually thought Murderer as another friend despite the fact that Duhh, a Murderer. I thought this is the start to a beautiful friendship... of sorts.

Present...
Is this Murderer's plans all along? Is it to kill the rest of my friends. Then I won't help.. but I'll be killed.. this is very complicated, I shook my thoughts out of my head. I arrives at my house as I walked inside, knowing that My parents are mad me, but I don't care about the "Your grounded"s and the "Pay attention"s.. they don't know I'm trying to save them from not getting killed by Murderer.

I went upstairs and went to sleep.

All I could see is Murderer's face laughing at me, laughing because the Murderer knows I'm not going to tell anybody. But for some strange reason, it was inaudible.. how do I know Murderer's laughing. I then see Murderer run at me.

I woke to the sound of my alarm for my school, as I almost screamed. I got up and took a quick shower and got dressed and ate some breakfast. I then got my things and walked to school. I then saw the group including the Murderer (pretending to act like normal) murmuring about something.

I walk up, "Hey guys" I said. Leo stared at me as if I was criminal scum, "You heard about Cancer" Virgo asked, "No, what?" I asked, acting like I don't know, "On the news it said that he got murdered by an assassin, as reporters called the suspect" Libra explained. Aries nodded, tears falling down her face, "Oh... oh my God" I said comforting Aries, "I wish I could find the scumbag" Leo said aggregated.

Pisces and Scorpio leaned back in their chairs, "How are we gonna find that person" Pisces asked, "How about we split into groups of 2, and 1 group of 3, I go with Taurus and Aries" Scorpio suggested, "Alright, I'll go with Libra" Capricorn said, "Hmm good idea Capricorn, I like it" Libra agreed, "I guess I'll take Aquarius" Virgo said, "I GUESS?! You don't guess you say... fine, just this once" Aquarius said, "I'll go with Pisces" I said, "Why with Me?" Pisces asked, "Why not?" I answered,

"Come on! Why leave me with Leo! He's bossy all the time" Sagittarius complained, "Oh shut up! All you do is complain" Leo said. Then they turned and "huff"ed at the same time, "Alright it's settled, lets hunt this night at these locations" Taurus said, making abbreviations surrounding the block of the crime. Each of us hiding at certain points. We all agreed, well almost all of us, since Leo and Saggitauris were fighting. So we showed them their positions. I knew the Murderer would strike again.

The Murderer didn't meet with me, since that was odd, maybe Murderer wants them to go with the little plan. I couldn't do anything with out them.

We got togetther as Taurus gave us walkie talkies and told us to go to Channel 3 to talk. We went to our positions. And we waited. I was with Pisces waiting, I thought I saw a light in the distance. I ran as fast as I could since in knew what it was, "What are you doing?!" Yelled Pisces on the walkie, "Just..Trust me" I said into it, turning the corner to see Murderer, writing on the wall near 2 bodies, False Leader. As Murderer took off I weeped at my 2 fallen friends.
