Earth was bored. and confused. and annoyed.

Honestly the list went on.

He and Luna had been forced to stay in the living room or in their bedrooms. Honestly, they just need to get Mercury to sort this all out; he's the best at emotions.

While Mercury and Mars had headed to their rooms, him and Luna had decided to stay downstairs.

The only entertainment was the TV.

"So what should we do?" Asked Luna.

"We could see if the TV has any good programmes," Earth replied

Earth knew the most about humans, being the planets that inhabited them but he unfortunately didn't have the power to operate TV's without the remote.

"How are we supposed to find the remote?" Earth complained.

It's missing, gone, lost forever. He couldn't see it from where he was sitting. The remote was gone and so was the chance of watching anything. They had to read. Oh the humanity?!

"We could get up and look for it?" Luna suggested, looking at Earth questionably.

"Oh we could do that," Earth replied, sheepishly.

Earth lifted a cushion, no remote. Luna looked behind the TV, no remote. Earth looked under the sofa, no remote.

Luna looked in-between the sofa cushion, remote.

"Found it," Luna said, pulling the black remote out.

"Yes," Exclaimed Earth, "We won't have to be TVless, it would have been torture, suffering, unbearable."

Luna smiled as he pressed the on button, "Okay, drama king."

"If I'm a drama king, my first act of king is to watch TV." Earth said, royally and standing on the sofa.

"Yes, your majesty," Luna said, repeatedly hitting the on button, "Earth, I don't think the remote works."

"What? Does it have batteries?" Earth asked. Luna knew about all history up until the 19th century, then he got bored.

"How would I find that out?" Luna asked.

"Pull the back out," Earth said, as Luna began vigorously pulling at the remote, "No you're going to break it, give it to me."

Earth opened the back of the remote and as he thought, it didn't have any batteries.

"How do we find batteries?" Luna asked, looking around.

The two siblings pondered that question for a while before..

"The kitchen," Earth exclaimed, "There's got to be batteries in there."

"Why?" Luna asked as he and Earth entered the kitchen.

"I saw a draw with a torch in it, maybe there are batteries in it or we can take the batteries out of the torch," Earth explained, heading to the draw, "Found them,"

The two siblings headed back into the living room.

"What type of batteries does the remote need?" Asked Earth.

"Working ones?" Luna replied confused. Earth had a look.

"Double A," Earth replied to himself, putting the batteries in.

"Wow, I'm glad you're here Earth," Luna replied as the TV finally turned on, "Or we would have no idea how electronic devices work."

"Don't be silly," Earth said, "I'm sure everyone else can understand how phones work."
