Helios didn't want the dogs, yet here they were following him. All Helios wanted to do was see what was outside the house but nooo, he was being followed by sausages with legs.
"Are you trying to trip me over?" He said staring at the walking trip hazards.
The two dogs just whined before walking ahead of him.
"Okay, fine, but you need to do what I say, got it?" Helios said. The dogs ignored him.
"I SAID GOT IT?" Helios yelled and the two dogs turned and nodded, eyes wide.
"Now where did you want to go?" Helios asked.
The dogs looked at each other before walking towards a shop.
Why? Helios didn't know but he followed them.
Entering the shop the dogs ran straight to a section, with a banner with the word 'Animals' above it.
Helios ignored them and had a look around the rest of the shop. Halfway through, he had to grab several bags because of how much he was getting.
After putting a Mars bar into one of his bags, he heard a woman yelling, "Why won't you just go in the crate?"
He would have ignored it but Phobos ran towards him, scared?
The dog whined as a woman rounded the corner. She had blonde hair and was carrying two crates, one empty and one with...
"Why do you have my dog in a crate?" Helios asked, staring at the woman.
"What? No, this is this is one of the dogs I was going to adopt," she said, sickeningly sweet, "Could you move so I could get my other dog?"
Helios stared at her; the sheer audacity of this-
"Can you move please?" She repeated impatiently, "They're going to be my daughter's birthday present."
"No, this is my dog," Helios said, sliding the handles of the shop bags onto his arms and picking up Phobos, "Actually, they're my nephew's dogs, so release Deimos from the cage and leave me alone."
"No, they are both my dogs and I will call security if you don't give me my dog back," the woman threatened, waving around Deimos' cage, causing the dog to bump against the side and start howling.
Helios, at an impulse, grabbed a Galaxy bar and threw it at the woman and snatched Deimos' cage from her, electing a scream from the woman, while he opened Deimos' cage.
A man dressed in black came into the aisle as Helios picked up one dogs with each arm.
"What's going on here," he asked.
Before Helios could reply, the woman yelled, "This man assaulted me and stole my dogs. I want him arrested."
"Ahh, Karen, back again," the man sighed, "Sir what happened?"
Helios explained what happened with the woman interrupting occasionally.
"Sir, I am going to have to have you escorted out of here for assault and Karen has another month ban," the man said already escorted Helios out while another man escorted the woman out
"Very sorry about that sir," The security guard said, "She's a regular."
"Why don't you just kick her out permanently?" Helios asked.
"We tried but every time we do, she complains to upper management but in a way that makes her the victim and there's never any security footage, we think someone's on the inside helping her but we can't prove it," the security guard complained as the two reached the exit, "Goodbye sir and have a nice day."
He then turned around and left.
Helios stared for a second before shrugging and walking back to the house.
Least he got his shopping for free
