(That's her dog. Just letting you know. :D)

I couldn't breathe. The heavy weight was smashing my lungs. I was taking short, fast breaths. Now you might think I'm suffocating, and in a way I am. I'm used to having Elliot on stomach, not Elliot on my stomach and Axel on my lungs. Elliot was on his back, his spine digging into my stomach. Axel on his stomach, ribs rubbing against my lungs. They were both shirtless, but there was a reason for this. I was still asleep, it was a Saturday, and they just ran in on me and laid there! On top of me! "Guys....... Seri.... Ously....... I.......... Can't........ Breathe." My father walked into my room. "Aw. Sibling love." He said. I reached out to him. "Daddy!!!!! Help!!!!!" He laughed. "I grew up with two older brothers too babe. Can't help you there. But I'm pretty sure your brothers are still ticklish." Before they can react I'm tickling Axel's feet. He yells out, falling off my bed. Then I sit up and tickle Elliot's belly, and he falls off as well. "Haha!!!!! I am victorious!!" They lay side by side so I jump and land on top of them, stretched across their ribs. "I win. Female is the superior gender." I leapt up and crawled back into bed. "Now leave me alone." They hopped up and left my room, making me smile.

I was in the courtyard reading my book during lunch. "OPAL!!" "WHAT?!?!?!" I yelled, falling off the bench and landing on my back. My book landed open on my face. "Can I help you?" I asked Rosie, voice muffled by my book. She knelt down beside me, picking my book off my face. "I needs your help." I sighed. "What do you needs help with?" She put the book back in my hands. "I think I might like someone. Like, like like someone." I sat up, but Rosie was still bent over me, so my forehead hit hers. "OW!!! Yowza!" I exclaimed. Rosie held her forehead and snickered. "No one says yowza." I scoffed. "Like you don't make up words Ms. Awesomazing. Ms. Occupacations. Ms..." "Whatever! Not the point!!" I laughed and Rosie helped me up. We sat on the bench. "So...... WHO WHO WHO?!?!?!?!" I asked, shaking her shoulder. She told me her feelings. "You totally have a crush dude." Her ears turned red. "Really? Do I?" I nodded, laughing. "Oh yeah." She put her face in her hands. "Oh great." I chuckled. "I'll help you."

I was reading on the sidewalk, leash wrapped around my hand. "Come on Lillie, let's go." I tugged on her leash and she trotted ahead of me. It's not very smart to walk and read at the same time, but oh well. I'm such a big nerd. Lillie was a very beautiful mix of a German Shepard and a husky, which normally cost a fortune. We found her on the streets though, wondering and hungry. So she was all free. Elliot doesn't like her very much, I could never figure out why.

We walked to the park, a small park for a small town. She pulled me along as I read the lines of my book. Sometime along the way, I ran into something hard. I looked up and saw a person. My book smashed between us. "Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry... Michael." I said to Michael, running into him again. "It's fine... Opal." He was mimicking me. It turns out he had a dog too, and Lillie and the other dog started running around us, the leashes holding Michael and I closely together. "Okay okay!" I said awkwardly. I didn't touch my temple, because one hand held the leash and the other held the book. "Maybe you shouldn't walk and read." He said jokingly. "I'm figuring that out yeah." We started to weave out leashes around each other, trying to get untangled. We were telling each other commands. "Alright lift your left leg." "Now move your leash over here." "No, not that way. This way." We eventually got apart. "Well that just happened." I said. "Yeah, totally." His voice was still cool and calm while mine was awkward. I glanced at his retriever. "Cute dog." I stated, resisting the urge to touch my temple. "Not nearly as pretty as yours. Name?" He responded. "Lillie. Yours?" "Becker. We have to stop meeting like this." I chuckled. "Tru-uuuue!!" I was in the middle of saying that when Lillie found a squirrel and took off. "See you at school!" He called, cupping his hands around his mouth. "Yeah!!" I yelled back.

"What can I say? My celebrity crush is Robert Downey Jr." I explain. Alice scoffed. "Typical. Mine is a Broadway star named Jeremy Jordan." I laughed. "A Broadway star is typical for you. You're all Broadway-ey." We were walking down the halls, trying to get to Spanish together. "Broadway-ey?" I smiled. "Yes. Don't mock my vocabulary." She only rolled her eyes, but there was the smallest hint of a smile playing on her lips.

"Opal." Came a voice. I sighed. "What do you want now Park?" He fell in next to me as I walked to my bus. He walked with confidence, moving smoothly. He got where he needed to be at his own pace. "I just thought you might like to know what you owe me." I did actually. So much that I almost smacked him in anticipation. I held myself back from shaking his shoulders and shrieking, "TELL ME!" I kept my face still. "Oh? Have you finally used your tiny brain to figure it out?" He didn't look at me, I didn't look at him. We stared straight ahead and put thought into what we were saying. "Yes, I have actually. Tell me, how great of an actress are you?" I wanted to look at him quizzically, but I only raised my eyebrows. "I'm an impeccable actress. Why?" All of our words were cold. No emotion. "Oh I can't tell you that just yet. But, go to this address Friday night at 7." He tried to grab my hand but I jerked away. He rolled his eyes. "I'm not trying to get all romantic on you jumpy. It's a piece of paper with the address on it." I narrowed my eyes and plucked the paper from his fingers. The address was in scraggly writing, and at the bottom it read, Wear something pretty. By the time I had read it and looked up, he had disappeared.
