A Highschool Secret

Chapter 16

*Garrett's P.O.V*

He ran and hugged his parents tightly not wanting to let go but, knew his brothers would want to see them as well. A bit reluctantly he let them go and motioned for them to go inside.

"They will want to see you. They have been bugging me for like 30 minutes to see if I could see Lisa flying back with you guys."

He watched them walk in and turned back around when he saw the door close. Once his eyes found her they widened. Never before had she been so beautiful in the full moon's light.

The way the moon light reflected off of her skin made it seem like she was glowing. Her hazel eyes shimmered and her long chocolate brown hair shined under the soft glow of the moon.

"Well I'm gonna head home now. Good night." She smiled at him.

"Yeah." Was all that he could manage in his dazed state.

He snapped out of his daze a few minutes after she had flown away.

Crap, I have to pay her back for earlier. He thought to himself as he unfolded his wings and took off after her.

"WAIT!" He yelled when she came into sight.

She stopped flying and turned around to look at him as he slowed down and stayed there in front of her.

"What? What's wrong?" she asked worry etched in her face.

He hugged her and whispered,

"Thank you, thank you so much for bringing them home."

She hugged him back.

"I should be the one thanking you. If you hadn't stepped in I probably wouldve gone in blind and got many people killed."

He felt something wet on his shoulder. He pulled away and saw tears streaming down her face and her eyes closed tightly. He looked at her in shock. Lisa, General Lisa, leader of the Alphas, the girl who has seen so much death and destruction and never shed a tear about it, is balling her eyes out in front of him. In his arms the woman he thought could never show any negative emotion except anger was crying.

Oh I am so going to get killed after I do this. He thought as he leaned in and kissed her.

He felt her body go stiff in shock.

*Lisa's P.O.V*

When she felt his lips on hers, her eyes went wide and her body went stiff.

Holy. Crap. He is kissing me. Why? I thought he had his eyes in a different girl!

All to soon he pulled away and she looked up into his eyes. She saw love in them. An emotion she hasn't seen in a long time. What that love was directed to, she did not know.

"W-well, I-i should p-probably head home now." She stuttered, the reddness of her face rivaling that of a tomato.

"Y-yeah." Garrett let go of her and she sped away.

Lisa stepped through her front door still lost in her thoughts that were quickly shattered when two arms circled around her. She was embraced in a warm hug. Her reflexes kicked in and she broke the embrace and shoved the person against the wall with her arm at their throat.

"L-Lisa, i-it's m-me." Lisa's mom croaked out.

Upon hearing her mother's voice she removed her arm from her neck and embraced her once again, only tighter.

"Mom, mom your home." Lisa cried into her mom's shoulder.

Her mom, Nicole, stroked her daughters hair in a calming way.

"Shh. Shh. I'm here now. There is no need to worry anymore. Let's get you to bed so that you can wake up in the morning." Nicole led her daughter up stairs so that she could take a warm shower then go to bed.

Goodness knows she's going to need it to make it through the next day. Let's hope her anger doesn't get the better of her and make her blow her cover.
