A Highschool Secret

Chapter 18

*Garrett P.O.V*

Garrett stopped and looked at his friend, confusion apparent on his face.

"What?" Garrett asked dumbfounded.

"Was she good? You know in bed?"

"Was who good?"

"Lisa, the girl you slept with? You know what I'm talking about right?"

Garrett's confused expression was replaced by a disgusted look very quickly.

"I don't even know who the heck this 'Lisa' is!" Garrett yelled.

"Whoa, calm down man. It was just a simple question." Cory said trying to calm his friend down.

"What ever. I have to get to class see ya Cory," Garrett said as he turned around and walked towards Mrs. Hartwell's class.

Upon entering a brown haired girl came up to him and asked to talk to to him in private. He agreed.

"We have to do something." She finally spoke.

"Do something about what exactly?" He replied confused.

"You mean you haven't heard the rumors going around about us?" She replied.

Garrett's face lit up in recognition.

"You're Lisa!" He exclaimed.

"You didn't know that? How could you not know who I am! I'm in almost all of your classes! Your such an idiot!" She yelled at him in a surprised and annoyed tone.

"Sorry. I don't really talk in classes."

"Ha! That's a load of crap! All of the teachers get onto you for talking because you never shut up."

"Let me rephrase that. I don't talk to people I don't know."

"Ya I gathered that much. Anyway, what are we going to do about the rumor?"

"I guess find out who started it then go from there."

"I know who started it. Its not that hard to tell. I mean let's be honest here, who gains from starting this rumor?"

"Kristianna? How does she gain from this?"

"Let's see. She gets the chance to take away your v-card, AND humiliate me? That's a double win."

"How will she know other girls won't try to sleep with me?"

"Wow, your clueless aren't you? I feel bad for your girlfriend."

"I don't have a girlfriend. Wait!  What's that supposed to mean?"

"If you paid attention you would know that no girl would sleep with a guy after he's slept with an 'untouchable' because that would make them an 'untouchable' as well."

"Two things. One, who are the 'untouchables',and two, wouldn't that make her an 'untouchable' as well?"

"The untouchables are the people that you don't talk to.  Basically, the nerds, geeks, artists, anybody that doesn't play a sport or is a cheerleader is an untouchable." Lisa explained.

Garrett's facial expression changed from one of confusion to one of understanding.

"As for your second question, I thought of that to but what she probably was planning was to become an untouchable herself and keep you for herself, OR she was planning to sleep with you then tell everybody the rumor was wrong."

"I'm going to go with the latter one because she doesn't seem like the person who could live with out being popular.

"Then that is probably what she is going to do. Now the question is, what are we going to do about it?" 

"You seem to know her pretty well, what does she hate?"

"What do you mean by 'you seem to know her pretty well'?" Lisa asked getting pretty defensive.

"Nothing really, it is just that you two seem to fight a lot. That is all." he defended.

"Well I guess that is true. Just because we fight a lot does not mean that I know her very well, it just means that she has a habit of pissing me off."

"Since you don't know much about her what do we do now?" he asked loosing hope that they would ever get her back.

"We are in luck, I just happen to know the perfect person to help us." she said looking past him.

He turned around to see who she was looking at. Coincidentally the only other person in the hallway was Lani, one of Kristianna's friends. he turned back to look at Lisa.

"May I ask how you know Lani, and why would she even want to help us?"

"I have known La since we were little. She has been my best friend for over ten years. even after her mom made her become friends with Kristianna we were still friends. She's going to help us because she hates Kristianna and wants to see her pay for the rumors as well." Lisa explained.

"If you guys are such good friends then why does she make fun of you?"

"That is because I have to look the part." Lani spoke from behind Garrett.
