Chapter 3

I woke up hearing voices saying "Kat! Roxy! Kat! Roxy!" I knew those voices my brothers. What is wrong now? I opened my eyes to see my brothers and mum being blocked by people in uniforms.
"What's going on?" Asked Roxy while she was sitting up. "Kat"
"Yes Roxy"
"Who are these people" she said scared. One looked at us and said.
"We are the royal guards" he said firmly.
I tried to find Quinn's face. I found it and the expression was shock and horror. Then two of the four guards came to Roxy and I and pulled us up so we were standing up. They put one of their hands into our pockets and toke out a golden coin from each of us. No no no no! This can't be happening I'm still sleeping this is just a dream! It's just a dream!
"They have a gold coin" One of the guards said to the rest of them.
Great it's not a dream. They were supposed to come at mid day not in the morning. Roxy and I looked at each other scared. I bet we have the same question in our mines. Where are they going to take us? All of a sudden my brothers broke out of where the guards were holding them and stood by my side and Roxy's. Then they all said at the same time.
"If you take them you take us as well" they stood their ground.
One problem even if they take us they take them as well so it really doesn't matter. The guards looked at each other then one of them said.
"All of you are coming with us"
Wait a second all of us? Including Roxy, my brothers, my mum and I. We were all dragged and pushed to a carriage. My brothers were trying to protect Roxy, mum and I by putting their arms around us. Mum also tried to protect and hug us as well.

We drove by carriage all the way to the coast it took forever. We were dragged out then pushed on a boat to go all the way to England. It was going to take a month or so oh well. When we got on the boat we were ordered to go into a big and beautiful room. It was gorgeous but the only down side was that we were locked in there and only came out to get some sunshine and fresh air. Roxy and I would always have a chat before we went to bed. One night she asked sarcastically.
"Are we prisoners?" To be honest I really don't know "I don't know"

Finally one month went passed and we were on dry land. Roxy and I knelt down and kissed the ground. But we really didn't stay long to admire the nature we got pushed in carriage that was waiting for us. Again. It didn't take long to go to the castle. I was hoping nothing bad would happen to us. When we got inside there was four thrones and four people on them. "Who are these people" Roxy asked
"I think they are royals" I replied
"What are they going to do to us?" She sounded scared
"I don't know" she heard that I was scared
"Silence" said one of the guards. Obviously he heard us as we were pushed towards where the four royals sitting on their royal thrones acting like they own the place. Well they actually do but still.
"Who are these people?" Said a woman who I think is the queen. She didn't look very nice by how she spoke and the expression on her face.
"The younger girls have a golden coin each, the four boys are the girls brothers and the woman is their mother" one of the guards said. To be honest I want to make a break for it but can't because four guard are surrounding us and two more are at the door with spear like things. I could tell the queen was thinking then she said.
"The two girls will become princesses, the four boys will be princes and the mother well she can be the maid for the girls." What? I'm not being a princess never, my mother isn't going to be my maid, Roxy probably won't want to be a princess and my brothers probably won't want to be princes. We all stood there in shock. Then firmly Quinn said
"What are we going to be?" I could tell the queen was disgusted
"You and your brothers will be princes, your sisters will be princesses and your mother will be their maid. I thought I already said that," she replied angrily
"Henry Sarah!" She said loudly. Then two people came rushing in
"Yes ma'am" said I think who is Sarah. "Can you fetch these girls two dresses. Then get their mother some maid clothes and that will be all thank-you,"
She said "Henry then I need you to get some suitable clothes for the boys. Now go both of you" they went rushing out. She looked who I think is her one of her sons "Josh can you please show the new princesses to their room," Josh nodded "Tom can you please show their brothers to their room please"  
"Yes mama" he took my brothers away, Lucy was taking Roxy and I to our room and my mother stayed with the King and Queen.
"Follow me" said Josh. I hope he is a nice person and not like his mother. I looked at Roxy and nodded and she said
"Ok" so we followed Tom to a big room with two beds dressed in silk and cotton, two dressers with a lot of jewellery and two giant cupboards which I think are filled with dresses and shoes. The door suddenly opened. Roxy and I whipped our heads around. It was Sarah with the night gowns for us. "Here you two. Some lovely silk night gowns" Roxy and I just stood there amazed.
"Th-thank you" I said. Ok the reason why I sounded scared is because I was scared. We put them on and then went to bed.
