Chapter 5

Lachlan and Edward

We chatted for a while then we went back to the castle. We really didn't want to go back to face the queen. But we have to. So we saddled up the horses and rode back to the castle. It didn't take very long. When we got off they both said.
"Good bye Katherine" said Lachlan
"Good bye Roxy" said Edward
"Bye meet you again soon" I replied
"Bye see you later" Roxy replied. We ran to the door of the castle and pushed it open.

There on the thrones was Queen Carolina, Prince Josh and Prince Tom. I think the king is away doing king stuff.
"And where have you two been?" Said Queen Carolina. I was going to tell her that her sons kidnapped us, kissed us, then two boys named Lachlan and Edward saved us and we rode all the way to town. But I didn't tell her that.
"We couldn't go on the horse ride with the princes" I wonder if she actually knew that her sons were going to do what they did.
"Well they say two boys came and took you and Roxy away" she said
"That did happen but they saved us" Roxy said
"What did they save you from?" Your sons!!! I will be nice and not blame it on the princes.
"Someone kidnapped us then we were tied up and then they came along and untied us" those princes owe us big time.
"What are the names of these heroes?" She asked again. She should be the Queen of questions. What would happen if we told her? Would she do something to them? So I just said
"Lachlan and Edward" she looked surprised
"The stable boys?"
"Yes" Roxy said. Then my brothers came rushing in followed by I think some servants they hid behind the door and the servants went passed. I giggled same with Roxy. Then I said
"What are you doing?" Still laughing.
"Hiding" said Connor
"From who?"
"From-"
"Nothing for you to know"Luke cut him off. That really annoys me Luke always likes to keep secrets from me. They quickly went away from the way they came. When we looked back at the queen she was angry the she said
"Tom Josh take them to their room and lock them in there." The Tom and Josh came running down from their thrones and took our hands and to lead us to our room.

When we got to the door of our room obviously they opened it the they pushed us into the room then shut the door and locked. Then Josh said
"Let that teach you not to go out with another boys besides us!" I don't have to listen to him he doesn't own me then I said "You don't own me!"
"Same with me!" Shouted Roxy. I could tell by the look on her face that she really was angry and I bet she could tell by mine to. We sat their for a while then I went to the window to get some fresh air. I poked my head out to see that there was a vine like plant going down the wall. Then I had an idea. We could climb out the window to the stables hop on one of the horses and ride to town. In my opinion that was a good idea so I went to go tell Roxy.

"I have the best idea ever" I said, excited. She turned around wanting to hear it.
"What is it" she to getting excited
"We could climb out of the window using this vine like plant. Then go to the stables that will be easy because our window is just on top of the stables. Then we could get a horse each out of the stables and ride to town. One thing that will get us there is that we don't get caught"
"That is a great idea!" She said jumping off the bed to where I'm standing. "But what are we going to do with these clothes?" I to be honest don't have a clue. Then I had an idea. I went over to the dresser which held mostly everything. I opened the draw and found: a roll of ribbon, thread and needles, a brush, lots of jewellery, some fans and scissors. That's what we need scissors. I pulled them out to show Roxy her face lit up.
"We could cut the skirts a little bit so we can run without tripping over them" Roxy said
"Great idea" I replied. Let's take two fans to try and hide our identity"
"Ok"

We started to cut the skirts to mid thigh. We looked really good to be honest.
"Let's run around the room for a little bit so we can see if it will work" Roxy said. So we did that running up and down the room. We got satisfied by the skirts and went to the window.
"I'll go first" I said
"Ok" Roxy replied. So I climbed out to where I could hold onto one of the vine like things. Then I started to climb down. Once I got to the bottom of it I gave her the thumbs up she started to go down. When she got down she said
"That was scary but cool"
"I know" I said. Before we ran to the stables we looked if anyone was coming our way and no one was coming. After we looked we ran to the stables.

When we got there we looked at which horse we could take. There were thousands of horses I chose a pure black one called night and then Roxy chose a white horse which is called star. We saddled them up trying not to make a noise. We got on them and just trotting outside. Then we heard someone say "Where are you two going?" I knew that voice it was Lachlan. I think Roxy realised who's voice it was two so we dug a heels in the horses belly and then they started to gallop then started to run. I could hear Lachlan's voice saying "stop! Come back!" We didn't listen we just kept going.

Hello. How is the book going? I hope it's going good😄😄! The next chapter might take a while because of school work and stuff so I will try and get it done. And once again I'm soooooooooooooo sorry for such the short chapter. I'm having the very bad case of writers block.
