Chapter 18: The temple

"Lyra's POV"

Ratchet and I ran as fast as we could to get to the temple, we needed to find the hover bike in order to get there faster. As we entered, Ratchet threw a rock on the same rock above and I did the same with another one and to our surprise the seal open. The writings started to glow brighter and made the inside of the seal brighter, I looked at Ratchet uneasy and I could've sworn I heard him gulped but we went straight in.
"Ratchet's POV"

Well on the bright side there wasn't any enemies but there was always doors in the way that need to be open and getting pass electric snakes in the water but we manage to get unharmed, we came to a dead end but it had writings all over it and it was dark. Lyra got out an aqua blue flare and held it up to see,"wish we had that translator" I asked but Lyra told me she can translate this which surprise me since I thought she can only translate lombax, she started to translate and I decided to remain quiet.
"Lyra's POV"

It said that the seekers used the core shards for good and to help other villages but it said that one of them went to the dark side and wanted the core shards for himself, to use it for his own deeds. I kept translated this for Ratchet but as I continued I found that the seeker was known as Dark seeker and tried to steal a core shard one night but was caught by the leader, I've never heard of a seeker fighting it's own. I noticed Ratchet was starting to get surprise just as I am, "a fierce battle was started by both of them" I told Ratchet as I kept translating. The writings told me that Dark seeker was beaten and ended up getting two punishments for his betrayal and for trying to steal the core shard, his body was transformed and the seekers place a mark as his weakness and he now called...Galaxion?!what?! I realize that Ratchet and I had shocked expressions after hearing that but I decided I finish, after transformation he was imprison in a shard and the seekers made two more that can destroy him if he returned.
"Ratchet's POV"

"Galaxion was a seeker?!" I questions Lyra and she nodded,"we need to let the others know" she told me and I agreed, looks like getting out will be hard.

Jinx yelled and Clank was surprised too,"yeah and we should probably get to plant Thram by now but Ly gonna have to go back to Meridian city since Tal could use some help" I suggested but Lyra seemed shocked."What?! Ratchet you know you need me" she told me as she walked up to me,"Ly..." I told her but she seem desperate,"please! You, Clank and Jinx. your...your all I have left now" she told me sounding really worried,"it's best you go to the city and help the Defense Force incase Galaxion comes" I told her as she rubbed her arms and looked away,"i'll keep you contacted" I told her before taking a step and lifting her chin gently. As soon as Lyra left, Clank, Jinx and I set course for Planet Thram.
