Chapter 20: the battle

"Ratchet's POV"

When we came back to the city, it was attacked by galax bots and something told me that Galaxion is the one who commanded them to attack. We had to fight through them to get to the museum but it wasn't easy even if Jinx helped along with Clank."Ratchet come in its me Talywn. Listen, Lyra told me everything and it seems like the shards need to be powered" I heard Tal talking to me on my com link and I told her we needed Vendra but I then ask her were Lyra was."she fighting the galax bots and I haven't heard from her in a while" Tal told me and I grew worry so I told her to contact Ly so I can check on her."Lyra come in, do you read?!" I called to her and she answered,"yeah but I just saw Galaxion. I'm gonna engage myself" she told me but I called back,knowing she'll get herself killed."No! Don't! Have everyone lock themselves in their homes, I want you and Tal to meet me at the museum, I working on a plan" I told her though she sounded surprise as she answered back but I reassured she'll know soon but right now I've gotta get pass these robots.

We got to the museum were I spotted Talwyn and Lyra, as we got to the steps Lyra walked up to me and embraced me. I felt one of her hands touching the back of my head but I wrapped my arms around her cause I knew she must've been worried."are you okay?" I question her as we parted,"I keep waiting to hear Ven's arguing or Neftin accidentally causing a problem in his machines" she told me as she walked away from us and turned her back."When Galaxion is destroyed, Vendra will answer for her crimes" Clank reassured her as Jinx jumped on her shoulder and nuzzled her face."Ratchet I've been trying to hack the security but Qwark forgot the code" Talwyn told us as she walked up to me."I'll handle this,you just send me the coordinates and tell us were to go" I told her as I got the tour bot out with my wrench.

We manage to find Vendra's location, she was held in a cage and guarded by Robo-mech,"Nef I found Vendra's location, were do I gave you the shards?" I told him and he told me to step away from the window, we
thought he was gonna use a slingshot but we jumped in surprise to see that he used a grappling hook, we looked out the hole to see Qwark,Neftin and Pollyx. There was bag attach to the rope so I putted the two shards and pushed the bag as Nef caught. We both split up, it was simple for the next phase of my plan: Clank and Jinx go free Vendra while Lyra and I fight Galaxion. Let's hope this works.
"Clank's POV"

I spotted Jinx flying above and I followed him, we saw Vendra weeping in her cage while Robo-mech was on gaurs though he appears to be asleep,"come on" Jinx told me as we ran to Vendra's cage."how did you find me?" She questioned us as she stood up surprised,"Your brother gave us the location, come. We need your help" I told her but we needed to open the cage. We noticed that Robo-mech was near the control panel that can open the cage, Jinx manages to get near it and opens the cage. Robo-mech however had woken up and was about to shoot us but Vendra strikes at him, powering him down."Lets get moving, I never want to see this place again" she told us as she started to float."Ratchet we had found Vendra and we are on our way now" I told him as we left.
"Ratchet's POV"

It was harder then we thought! Both Ly and I were out of breath but Galaxion appeared weak,We both noticed Vendra,Jinx and Clank coming towards us and I was glad."Hurry! I yelled and I quickly turn to see Galaxion coming towards us but Vendra shoot two energy blasts at the shards that Neftin was holding and they glow. Vendra started shooting at Galaxion at his mark and he didn't seem happy, Neftin quickly place the shards in front and the power inside connected to each other and Galaxion. He screamed and arched his body and turned into black dust. Vendra collapses but Neftin luckily catches her,"Nef? Why would you protect me after what I did to you and Lyra?" We heard her question and Neftin answered that she was his sister,next thing we knew Neftin put her on his shoulder."were are we going?" She yelled and once Neftin said she was going to jail she yelled that she wasn't going and tries to shock him but fails."Vendra... SHUT UP. Your going to jail and that's final" he said firmly and said no when she ask if she can still be evil. I noticed Lyra was smiling and waving her hand which angered Vendra,"just wait Lyie! This won't be the last time you see, you'll see" Vendra screamed at the top of her lungs."Now that's what I wanted to see she" she said as she placed both hands on her hips and I couldn't help but smile at her.
