Chapter 4: Jessica Crest

"Grey, this is Jessica," Madame Vederiko says as she introduces Grey to the girl. "Jessica, this is Grey. Your new roommate."

'Great...' She thinks, and already has a weird feeling about this. Are they going to be friends, enemies? She doesn't know yet, and she hates not knowing things. Now being calm, Grey decides to play it cool.

"It's nice to meet you Jessica," she says formally.

The taller female smirks under the werewolf mask, but of course a certain someone can't see it.

Madame Vederiko had told Jessica she would eventually get a roommate, so when she saw the elevator blink, and the smell of someone she didn't recognize hit her, she quickly thought of a plan.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Grey," Jessica says formally as well. She extends her hand and waits for Grey to take it, but before the poor girl could get electrocuted, Madame Vederiko stops her.

"Now Jessica, be nice with your new roommate." Putting a possible trouble maker, with the most troublesome student is probably not the brightest idea, but even though Jessica is the most troublesome student here, she is also the most capable in protecting Grey from any kind of harm.

Jessica grunts in annoyance, and Grey sighs in frustration.

She is stuck with a childish teenager. What could be worse then that? Yes, she plays a lot with the younger ones in her pack, especially the twins, but she is also a serious person when it comes down to it.

Jessica suddenly wrinkles her nose, and takes off her mask. "You smell like a werewolf." She smiles, another werewolf was cool, maybe she would play with her for a little while.

The statement takes Grey by surprise. "W-Well.. I... um..." She stumbles with her words, unable to think of something to say. Her cover cannot be blown this quickly, could it? Until now, she didn't even think of her smell.

"She's a human from the Edger clan. With so many purebloods, it is obvious that the smell would stay."

The werewolf smiles in understanding, "Well that's cool." She then turns to the newcomer, "I'm a werewolf from the Crest clan."

Grey's eyes widen and she almost chokes on her own saliva, "W-What?"

The Edger clan is a pureblood clan which made it quite prestigious, but the Crest clan? They're royalty. It all makes sense now. The huge penthouse, the name Jessica. She's the second youngest daughter of King Garrett, the Alpha, and his Luna, Queen Izidora.

Jessica sighs slightly, this newcomer is probably like the rest of the school. "I hope you don't treat me differently. You're from the Edger's, you must know I'm royalty."

Grey chuckles slightly, "You tell me to not treat you the same as everyone else yet you sound so cocky with being royalty."

Blue eyes turn into a bright orange as Jessica growls lowly, "I already don't like you."

Not feeling intimidated, Grey steps up to the taller girl and smiles, "Glad it wasn't me who had to say it."

The air in the penthouse quickly gets heated, and Madame Vederiko decides it is time to break the tension.

"No changes can be done, you two are stuck together." She smirks, her plan is going smoothly.

She turns to leave, but she looks over her shoulder midway, "Oh, and Grey? Please come to my office tomorrow morning before class."

Jessica laughs, "I bet you're a trouble maker."

Before Grey can respond, Madame Vederiko says, "Jessica, please show Grey around the campus later."
