"Come on Bella, off the bed."
The small cat stretches its paws before promplty leaping off the girl's bed. Grey shakes her head as she smoothes the wrinkles in the soft blankets.
"It's only me and you today Bella, Jessica has extra training to do with Carmilla," Grey says, as if the cat could understand her. The adorable ball of fur leans against Grey's legs. "You're such a small cutie."
She picks the cat up and looks into its pale green eyes. "I wonder why a cat like you was abandoned," she whispers to herself.
Meow, the cat purrs in her hands. She puts the adorable animal on the ground. It stretches its legs before immediately darting out of the room. Following the cat, Grey decides to make herself some breakfast and maybe not almost burn down the kitchen, again.
She puts a plate of scrambeled eggs and soft bacon on the floor. Bella carreses her leg before eating her food.
"Such an odd kitty, maybe I'm spoiling you too much," Grey says as she flips her omellette.
"Maybe, hey, when is Jessica coming back?"
"At seven." Grey smiles as she flips her food again before her eyes widen in mild horror. Who did she just respond too? She whirls around in seconds, almost knocking down her breakfast. In front of her, sitting on the counter with her legs crossed sits a young girl. Her skin reminds her of Olivia. Grey's eyes roam from the girl's legs to her bare chest to finally, her curious pale green eyes.
Not a single sound comes from Grey who is shocked, but oddly not very surprised. For a split second, Grey thought it was Olivia playing an awful prank on her, but this girl's hair is more wild; more curly than Olivia's own. Not too mention the light freckles that adorn her cheeks and the top of the stranger's shoulders.
"Ah yes, I haven't introduced myself yet. My name is Blaire! You were calling me Bella; you have good taste in names." The girl, supposedly Blaire, says with a humorous tone.
Grabbing a nearby knife, Grey points it at the clearly defenseless girl. "How did you get in here?", she manages to ask.
"Are you deaf? Bella? You know, the cat? Yeah, that's me."
Grey shakes her head in disbelief. "Just..." She sighs and puts the knife down. "Let me get you some clothes."
"So," Grey takes a sip of her coffee. "Explain yourself."
Blaire crosses her arms. "I'm a witch."
"You're a witch," Grey says, putting her hand on her forhead. It's a lot to take in, but in this world she was brought into where even dragons exist, she does not find it surprising that her cat is actually a witch.
The dark skinned girl watches Grey with an amused smile. "I know who you are."
"Yes, yes," Grey waves her off. "You have been living with us for quite a while after all."
"Hm." Blaire makes Grey's coffee swirl, and the shorter girl swears she has more patience than this.
"Grey, the daughter of Aria Edger and Elric Vanderyk."
The stool Grey was sitting on screeches as the girl stands up in one abrupt movement. "What do you want from me?"
"Nothing," says Blaire, who suddenly has an air of seriousness around her. "I can see the past, just as I can see the future."
"Bullshit," Grey takes a step back from the island in the kitchen.
"You don't have to believe me, but right now what is in store for this world is only destruction-"
