Eva's P.O.V.

The sun broke through the curtains waking me from my sleep. I yawned and twisted in Axel's arms, "Were you watching me sleep?"

"Only a little bit, I just woke up." He kissed my cheek and sighed as there was a knock at the door.

"I need your help, Eva." Natalie sighed from behind the bedroom door. Axel groaned and I chuckled.

"I'll be out soon." I reassured her as she walked away.

"It's weird that your best friend is my sister." Axel groaned as I sat up in bed, tossing the covers off of my legs. I had grown close to Natalie over the past two months. She had become like a sister, Cassie decided to take over as my mother which made me smile, Laura and Davina had become good friends too.

"Would you rather your family hate me?" He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me under him.

"No," he smiled as he hovered over me. Axel kept his word about staying around better, he had told me about his uncle but I hadn't told him I met him. I couldn't believe that the hybrid I controlled in the woods shared blood with my Axel. "My Aunt Gwenn, Uncle Sam, and my cousin Esther are coming in tomorrow."

"No, really? I thought the welcome to Blood Moon territory bonfire was for random strangers." I replied sarcastically and he chuckled.

"Has anyone told you how sarcastic you are?" I shook my head, "Well, it's sexy as hell."

"Really?" I flipped us over so I was straddling him. The white shirt he let me use for bed rode up my thighs as he gripped them.

"Yea," I kissed him softly. "But only when you don't use it to disobey me." I placed my hands on both sides of his head and he wrapped his arms around my bare waist, his hands under the shirt. I kissed his lips again and he moaned, low, deep in his throat. I kissed down his jaw then his neck until I nipped at the spot where I was supposed to mark him.

"You know, it's still not fair that you marked me but I didn't get the chance to mark you." I whispered as his hold on me tightened. The mark had healed, leaving the scar of his teeth behind.

"Eva," he groaned and I chuckled as my k-9s extended. I sank my teeth into him and he sucked in a quick breath before moaning. I removed my teeth and kissed the spot lightly before kissing his lips.

"And just like that, I gotta go see your sister." I chuckled as I jumped off of him and pulled on a pair of running shorts, grabbed my tennis shoes, then grabbed a tank top before bolting out the bedroom door and into Natalie's room. "Hey," I said breathlessly and she chuckled.

"Use my bathroom," she shook her head as I slipped in and changed quickly before pulling my hair up I to a pony tail while walking back into her room. "Ready?"

"Yep, your mom running with us?" Sometimes Cassie let us job alone.

"I don't think so," Nat shrugged as we hopped down the stairs. Cassie stood in the kitchen with Laura and Axel. Nat kissed Cassie's cheek and Laura gave me a hug while Axel's stare bore into me.

"You girls stay on the trails, there's been some mutt sightings." Cassie said as she hugged me.

"We will," I smiled as I kissed Axel's cheek. "See ya," Laura and I walked out of the kitchen and into the sunlight. "Race ya." With that we both took off into sprints until we hit Willow Creek. We had ran four miles and needed a break as we sat at the edge.

"So..." Natalie said as I took a drink of water. "This is gonna sound weird but had Axel given you anything yet?"

"What?" I chuckled as she sighed.
