Shout out to mysteriousgirl36 for commenting a shit load on the character ask.❤

Remember, I'll be answering them all toward the end of the story, so go and ask!

The rest of the work day went on in a drag. I filled out meaningless paperwork about the company and was scheduled for three interviews, which I completed. After my father left to go for the day, I took the liberty of introducing myself to the rest of the employees that didn't work on the top floor. Most of them were friendly but professional, while others couldn't tell a stock from a sock. I was making a mental note to bring those that were having difficulties to my office so I could help them, until I was harshly knocked in to.

"Hey, clown face! Watch where you're going!" She gave me a sly smirk while she didn't even attempt to help me up. Her friend on the other hand had her eyes wide open in fear.

"Sasha, that's-"

"I don't care who she is, her two left feet will be new her claim to fame." Okay, that was pretty rude.

"My claim to fame? Hmm, I actually wouldn't consider my feet to be my claim to fame 'Sasha'." I'd consider my claim to fame to be your new boss... of this entire company. You see my father, David Evans, was actually the one that graciously offered me it. So I suggest an apology or a letter of resignation on my desk by no later than tomorrow morning. Your choice." I smiled at the poor girl who was now actually shaking in fear.

"Oh, Miss Evans I'm so sorry. Please accept my apology, I didn't know you were David's daughter." She rushed out, stuttering on almost every word. I almost felt bad for her, but then I remembered I apparently have two left feet.

"Watch how you treat people Sasha. I will not tolerate rudeness amongst my company. Get back to work." She scurried along to wherever she came from, along with her friend. I blinked at myself as I actually felt like a boss for the first time in my life. It surprised me how I stood up to her, but she deserved it. If she treated me that way, I couldn't imagine how she treated other employees or other customers.

"You sure told her, baby."

No.

No I was imagining things.

It wasn't him.

I'm exhausted from work.

I closed my eyes and counted for a good five seconds before turning around to see the very person I loathed. Even though the evidence was clearly in front of me, I still thought I was hallucinating. He couldn't have been here right? Wilsons were not tolerated in this building, surely someone would've called security if they saw Dominic Wilson at Evan's Inc.

"What are you doing here?" I spoke in a deadly tone, continuing to walk in the path I was headed-my office.

"What am I doing here?" He mocked my question. "Well, you won't return any of my phone calls or texts, you've acted like I haven't existed for the past two weeks, hell you could've been dead and I wouldn't have known. And to finish it off, you didn't even call to thank me for the flowers I sent you." Was he actually being serious?

"Why would I? I want nothing to do with you Dominic. And besides, this is my job! You don't come here, especially when my job happens to be the place where you're, in no uncertain terms, not welcome. Now do everyone a favor and leave." I stepped onto the elevator and of course, he followed me there too.

"I don't give two shits if I'm in Antarctica, Olivia! I told you, I'm not giving up on us." His outburst luckily couldn't be heard by anyone but us, but that doesn't mean I wasn't still embarrassed. Dominic's persistence was admirable, but I didn't want to hear any more of his lies. I didn't want to listen to his dishonesty, I just wanted him to leave.
