Izuku has always been a curious boy, wanting to know everything that he can, with no cares about how he learns it. Now, after the death of his mother has driven him into insanity, he has decided that nothing will stop him from learning everything th...
Kai Chisaki groans as he awakens. But he feels... weird. Weightless, even, and more than a little disoriented.
"Where... am I?" He thinks, but as he does he hears it as if coming from everywhere at once. "What... is this?"
"Ah, good, you're awake. I was unsure whether or not the resurrection would work considering how long you've been dead." A voice that sounds oddly familiar says, as suddenly Kai is able to see, revealing a man that instantly jogs Kai's memory.

(Just imagine that his eyes are green and that he's wearing a lab coat as well)
"You!" Kai shouts. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!?" He demands.
The man chuckles, the sound slightly muffled by his gas mask. He then grabs one of the cameras that Kai is oddly able to see out of, and points it up at a massive metal sphere with a glass window that's hanging from the ceiling and conected to the walls, with wires running all around it. And on the front is a window, revealing that the sphere is filled with a reddish liquid, and suspended in that liquid is a brain. A human brain. And, just like that, Kai understands.
"You didn't..." he growls, enraged.
The man laughs. "But I did! You see, Kai Chisaki, Overhaul, whatever you want to call yourself now, you are the only person I have ever met whose intellect rivals my own. The only person I know of outside of myself who was able to figure out how to modify and mutate quirk factors all alone and without help or a hundred years of experience, and the only person outside of myself to ever figure out how to grant people quirks temporarily, with your quirk erasing bullets each containing a 'delete myself and all other quirk factors in this body' quirk." He praises, causing Kai to feel some level of pride for an indescernable reason. "And, for that reason, I have decided to enlist you into my service. Of course, with your history, I can't possibly entrust you with being intact and able to access those under my care, which is why you're in there instead."
Kai scoffs. "And why would I ever help you? You slaughtered the Shie Hassakai, destroyed my life's work, killed me, and now you've mutilated me upon my resurrection, so why would I EVER help you?"
If not for the gas mask, the man would be visibly grinning. "Because you don't have a choice. So fight, or don't, it doesn't matter in the slightest. Either way, I own the infrastructure that you're wired into, and have full access to your brain. I can, and will, force you to comply if you don't do so willingly."
Kai would be glaring death if he still had eyes. "You'll die for this. When I get my haNDS ON YOU, YOU'RE A DEAD MAN!!!" He roars, only amusing the target of his hatred.
"That anger's not a good look on you, Chisaki." He playfully chastises.
--------------------
A pair of plastic eyes open as their owner groans in pain. "What's... going on?" She asks nobody, raising her hands to her head as she sits up, and pausing when she notices the plastic skin. "My hands... they're plastic? And... why do I only have 3 fingers not counting my thumbs?"
"It's good to see..." one voice says.
"That you're..." another continues.
"Awake," a quite frankly demonic voice carries on.
"Inko Midoriya." An older-sounding version of Izuku's voice than she remembers finishes.
Instantly, Inko's head snaps toward the speaker(s?), revealing a giant robotic spider with the upper half of a robotic jester with terrifying hands sprouting from where the spider's head should be. Evidently, all of the voices came from it. "Who... what... where... am I?" She questions, terrified by the monstrous being. "What... happened to me?"
"Do not"
"Be afraid,"
"Grandmother."
The being says with 3 wildly different voices.
"You are"
"Safe"
"Here."
It continues, placing a hand against its chest.
"I am"
"Or was, rather,"
"Oliver Midoriya."
"But you,"
"Grandmother,"
"May call me"
"The Prototype."
Inko stares at it, him, in shock, unable to process what she just heard. "Oliver... Midoriya?" She questions. "That means that you're Izuku's..."
The Prototype tilts his head. "His son?" He asks.
"Yes..."
"And no..."
The Prototype says, shaking his head.
"I am his"
"Biological son,"
"Yes. But,"
"It is"
"More accurate"
"To say that I"
"Am his"
"Creation,"
"Rather than"
"His son."
Inko tilts her head, confused, prompting The Prototype to chuckle.
