Chapter Four

a/n: The name ideas for Silveny's baby are still being taken. The gender and name will be revealed next chapter! Also I would love to thank my older sister who I have very strong positive feelings for atm because I lost my copy of Exile and she found it finally! (But she ships Sofitz so I won't say anything more.) And my mom walked in and yelled at me to get off and because she gave me an extra two minutes to finish the chapter I am forced to dedicate this chapter to my mother. Not that she'll see it but oh well. Here's for my mom (Who hasn't even read the book and ships Sophie with Dex xc)

"Hey Cael," Sophie said after answering her Imparter.

"Hey Sophie," he said, a grin on his face. "So I got my matchmaking list and noticed you were on it and I was wondering what number I was on yours. . . " 

"You were my number twelve," she answered, not even looking at the scroll next to her. After answering she gave it a grief glance, noticing the red star next to his name. She sighed when she saw the crossed off star on Fitz name. 

"You were my number seven," he said. "Apparently you're more meant for me than I'm meant for you," he said. "Who was your number one?"

"Zeb," she said. 

"Zeb? As in Zeb Lark?" He frowned.

She nodded. "Yeah, why?"

"That guys a jerk."

"I happened to have dated that jerk," she stated with a raised eyebrow. "Then again I dated you so it says a lot."

"Hey, I'm just saying. He cheated on that one girl with someone else," he said.

"No, he didn't. It was me who is the one he was accused of cheating on her with but we broke up before they got together. And our break up wasn't because he's a jerk, it was 'cause I was too busy to date. Now if I remember correctly you broke up with me," she said with a raised eyebrow.

"That was a mistake-"

"You told me my eyes creeped you out."

"Yeah but-"

"You told my best friend to break up with me for you."

"I knew he would break it gently-"

"And you started dating Stina not even a day later. Stina!" She rolled her eyes. "You didn't even say sorry."

"Well, I tried but Fitz and Keefe threatened me and told me I wans't allowed to talk to you again. . . I tried to talk to Biana last week but she thought that it was a date," he explained.

"A date she was really looking forward to," Sophie said frowning. "I'm sorry but if you're trying to get back together, it's not happening. I mean I put a star next to your name on my scroll, to show I was okay, but I'm crossing it out now. I'm sorry but I just can't be with you again. You hurt me a lot."

He sighed. "Yeah, I understand. I hope everything turns out okay with whoever you pick."

"How do you know I'll end up with someone? That whoever I pick will pick me?"

"Because I have a pretty good idea of who's on your list."

"So, how's your future husband picking going?" Biana asked, before taking a bite of mallowmelt.

"It's not like that," Sophie said. 

"You turned down a bunch of guys already," Biana said.
