Marco's POV

We came back to the hotel after the best breakfast ever and went straight back to our room. Today was our 4 year anniversary, that's why she woke up so early.
I'm trying to make her think that I forgot it, so I can make a huge surprise to her. A romantic dinner with her favorite flowers and her favorite food. With a little twist. I cannot wait to see her reaction at the surprise that I have for her. But for now, I'll have another mission to complete.

Melanie's POV

Marco is acting weird today. And that's never actually good, from my experience. I think he's planning something, at least I hope so. He can't just forget our anniversary like this. Not after everything we've been through so far.
I'm expecting very much from him this year, because last year he sang a beautiful song for me at Signal Iduna Park's pitch. It was very romantic and special.
Also, on Valentine's Day he gave me a huge buquet of my favorite flowers and a soft toy. This time he's probably planning something big, but I'm not sure what it is, which always drive me crazy. I hate not knowing what's going on or what's going to happen.
To stop me from going mad, I went to talk to Erik, to thank again his kind words and his friendship. And, of course, I had to ask him if he knew what Marco was going to do for me, or if he had any idea what was he going to do.
I said to Marco that I wasn't feeling alright and that I had to go back to the hotel and get some rest. Yes we weren't there. He planned to visit some stadiums and talk to some people that I never heard of, and that was really boring.
I then went back to the hotel alone, even though Marco insisted to go with me, I went all by myself. I didn't want him to come because I didn't want him to know that I was going to talk to Erik. He would be probably mad at me if he knew. I just wanted everything to be fine between us, no more arguments or fights.
When I got there, I went straight up to his room and knocked the door. He opened it and for my surprise, he wasn't wearing any shirt. "Hi, Erik. Can we talk for a second?" I asked him a little awkwardly.
"Uhm, can it wait, Mel? I'm kinda busy..."
"Oh! Are you with..."
"Yes I'm with a girl"
"Okay, I'll come back later... Text me when you're free to talk, though"
"I will, trust me" he said while closing the door.
I couldn't believe Erik was with another girl. He couldn't be over me that quickly. And who the hell was that girl? Why did I care? Oh gosh what am I thinking?! I'm with Marco and I love him and we'll have an amazing anniversary and nothing or anyone will tear us apart! Everything is going to be magical and wonderful! Marco may be preparing a surprise for me, and I will prepare one for him too!

Marco's POV

I can't believe that she actually believes that I forgot about our anniversary. Everything will go so right. It will be an amazing night. I just have to make sure she is good now, she is not throwing up or anything. So, I went back to the hotel and went to our room.
"Hey, mein Liebe" I said kissing her
"Hi" she said a little distracted
"What's wrong, Mel? Are you still feeling sick?"
"No, no I'm fine. I think"
"What do you mean by that?"
"I'm just a little tured, I think I'll sleep early today..."
"But what about dinner...?"
"I don't think I'll be able to eat, I'm not feeling that well..."
"But you said ypu were fine"
"I said I thought I was, but I'm not actually that well"
"But I planned a romantic dinner for us, you know, for our anniversary"
"I KNEW IT! I knew you didn't forget about it! I knew you were planning something! I only said that because I wanted you to say that"
I laughed "So, are you in?"
"Hell yeah!" She said laughing a little
"I love you so much, Mel" I said kissing her passionately
"I love you too, Marco" she said kissing back
I knew/hoped that that was going to be a wonderful night. The best night of my life.

I'm soooooooo sorry that I only updated now, but I didn't have any inspiration to write in the past three months, and I had so much to do, but I think I'll try to update at least once a month, if I have ideas, because one thing I don't want to do is write just to write. I want to write because it's going to be good, not just only to update. Soo yepp, I hope you guys liked it and a hugeee thanks for the support and a special thanks to were_savages, for the attention and awesome feedback, love youu :3
