people that make me feel blessed

And I can proudly say

I have the best memory...

Of Family and friends gathered around

Wishing each other well and hoping to arrive safe and sound

Sarcastic jokes, grandpa talks and I swear I love them all

They may sound arid but for me they keep me inspired...

And grateful

For those people, who I would like to call faithful...

To me and always supportive

That's enough to fill me with verve

True happiness lies within these people

The close ones that will always alleviate your fever

Are willing to swim all the oceans and climb all mountains just to witness your grin

They will stop anyone who wants to trim....

off loose threads from your ragged edge

So be happy and thankful

If you have just one person

who loves you so much and are not too cocky to show

If they make you smile, then let that smile glow

So give them a handful...

Of care and admiration

And relish your days with aspiration

And always remember never to turn that smile upside down
