It was me and a normal day
Listening to what they say
When all of a sudden those words came out...
and I couldn't help but feel my dismay
I thought I'd pass out
I started to guess "hallucinated I may be?"
Frozen I can't breathe
Recalling what they just affirmed
My mouth dropped open, amazed of how cruel it was
After what seemed like a while...
I stormed off and slammed that door behind...
me and headed away
What were they thinking?
A moment of shock and despair
Amusement and silence took over me
And suddenly I stopped blinking
Thinking how blunt people may be
So I took a step back and decided to face them out loud
Solid, I stood in front of them
Was no longer amused to confront them
"Well if that's what you really feel," and that's how it started
We fought and argued and I proved my point
They looked down in shame of what they've said
And promised me they would start to think ahead
And thanked me for not giving up on them
Cause I was too stubborn to believe the lies within them
Frozen again we stood as one
Laughing our hearts out..oh God we're stubborn...
At the end I'd like to say
Don't judge a book by its cover
Don't get fooled by words 'cause they may be misunderstood
Don't hesitate and face them troubles with a hook!
