Jehari
I talked to my mom about moving in with Romeo and she was all for it.
Her exact words were: "Of course I would love to move in with him. Get me outta this damn place! Plus I get to brag about my son in law being a famous pro football player. Just make sure I get a room far away from y'all cause I ain't tryna hear y'all doing the nasty."
Her doctor approved the house and deemed it safe for her to live in. So now, here we are. Romeo had all of my furniture moved into the pool house and a hospital bed put into a guest room.
She would have two nurses that would come to the house. A day nurse and a night nurse.
"Babe, you done?" I looked up at Romeo as he stood above me.
"Yeah, take this to the truck please."
He nodded and took my last bag to his white Escalade. I stood up and dusted off my grey yoga pants before following him out of my old apartment.
I honestly wouldn't miss it, so I didn't even look back.
Romeo helped me into the truck and then got in himself. He drove to the hospice and we went in to get my mother.
"Hey Mama." Romeo kissed her cheek.
"Hey baby boy. Get my bags, I'm ready to go."
He got her suitcases and I helped her into the wheelchair. I wheeled her down the hall as passing nurses said their goodbyes.
"Bye Ms. Rosie!" Candice waved.
"Bye Sugar."
Romeo put the bags in the car and helped my mom in.
When we were all settled in the truck, we pulled away from the hospice.
"Mama, you ready to see your new home?"
"Boy yes."
I giggled and looked over at my man. He looked so cute in a pair of black basketball shorts, red Nike tee that said Just Do It in black, red Nike Elite socks, and all black Nike's.
"Stop eye raping me." He mumbled.
"Boy, you ain't even cute like that." I smacked my lips.
"Stop lying lil bit."
I rolled my eyes and giggled as we pulled into the driveway.

RomeoI finally had the ladies settled in and now we were just relaxing in Mama's room. She was telling us stories and cracking jokes as if she wasn't sick at all.
My mom called me and I excused myself from the room.
"Hey doll." I greeted in a girl voice.
"Boy stop. What are you doing?"
"Hanging out with Jehari and her mom. Remember I told you I was moving them in with me?" I leaned against the wall.
"You sure did. We should have dinner this evening so I can meet her."
