Freaks: 3rd Chapter

Episode 15: Hunting the dead

- " Run Quinn! RUN! "

The town was crowded, New years eve was around the corner and every single club in levington was open,  and while everyone was having fun on the streets, two freaks were running for their lives on the rooftops..

- " Where did you say she lived?! " the girl yelled to her brother as they both ran as fast as they could.

- " Outside town! We cant miss it! " The boy suddenly fell screaming, one of the hunters shot an arrow right into his left leg. His sister stopped running, panick filled her heart at the scene of her brother drowning in his own blood..

- " oh my god.. " She was scared, but she took a hold of the arrow and broke its outter part. Her brother screamed out of pain..

- " Qui- Quinn, ru- run.. " And right when he finished his words, he fainted.

- " No, No.. Elijah! " She slapped his face looking at the hunters not far away from her " Elijah you have to wake up! " She was terrified. But leaving her twin brother was not an option..

- " Stand up. " one of the hunters announced, pointing his crossbow at her.

- " I will do what ever you want.. just please dont kill us! " She begged with tears filling her pink glowing eyes. The hunters seemed confused until one of them said..

- " Fine, chain em up, were taking them back to headquarters.. "

Right when he was about to strap her hands, she looked at him with a devious smile, and than rammed him violently knocking him out. Surprised, the other hunters couldnt ready their weapons in time, so she jumped in the air and summoned three pink floating flames that sourrounded her. She then dashed towards the three remaining hunters, with the flames moving harmoniously around her. she raised her hand pointing her palm towards them, and so the flames penetrated each one their hearts, leaving  in there a glowing, burning hole ..

- " As if.. " She smirked.

- " I dont know, i remember bits and pieces, all blurry though.. "

- " Okay Nickki, listen.. Close your eyes " she said helping the girl lie on the sofa. " your gonna listen to my voice and ill guide you through it okay?! "

- " I guess.. " Nickki was hesitant, she wasnt sure if she wanted to remember what happened with jackson or not..

Before starting, Karen whispered to Makayla..

- " Are you sure you can do this? "

- " Care, Im part psychic, remember?! " she reassured her.

Karen smiled, but really, she didnt know what to feel-  Relieved or nervous?

- " okay, so you open the gate and follow kat to the garden; what do you see Nickki? "

- " Stone benches, Uh, Gr- Grass i guess.. " Suddenly she stopped talking.

- " its okay nickki, im here.. tell me what do you see?! "

- " Five students.. I- I know them " Her voice was shaking out of fear.

- " What are they doing?! "

- " theyre gathered in a circle.. chanting.Theres this weird floating Ball in the middle of their circle.. "

- " Hold on did she say Floating ball?! " Karen interrupted their seance, waking Nickki from her hypnosis.

- " KAREN! " Makayla yelled at her " What are you doing?! Were in the middle of something here!! "

- " Nickki, you said floating ball, and a circle?! Right? " Karen ignored Makaylas reaction.
