chapter four!

Chapter four

Lennox pov

“I won!” I giggle lying down in the sand by Zayn and aboo. “Oh god, that was long.” Liam says lying down in the sand next to me when we get back by the rest of people. “Yea, I haven’t done ten in a long time.” I sigh brushing the hair that has fallen out of my hair tie to the side. “Liam Lennox! Come swim!” niall shouts from the ocean with everyone besides Zayn and Abree. “I will in a minute.” I say sitting up and stretching out my legs a little. “I’m gonna go.” Liam says getting up. I nod and smile at Zayn and Abree who are playing with sand toys and fixing the sand castle. “Aboo, wanna swim?” I ask her. “Zayn doesn’t like too either.” She giggles as he tickles her tummy. “Ok have fun.” I smile getting up and going out to the cool water. It’s adorable how he plays with her like that. “Lennox!” chad says jumping on my back. “Ahh dude your like five times heavier than me!” I laugh falling over on top of him. We both burst out laughing in the small waves.

Zayn pov

                Liam and Lennox come back while I’m playing with Abree in the sand since she doesn’t like the water either. Lennox lies down in the sand her chest rising and falling from the deep breaths she is taking in Liam lies next to her, his chest doing the same; they both are sweaty from the hot air and their run. Abree hands me the tiny flag to put on top of the castle. I put it up and give her a hi-five. “Liam Lennox! Come swim!” niall shouts from the waves. “I’m gonna go.” Liam says standing up. Lennox nods and stretches some. “Abree wanna swim?” Lennox asks. “Zayn doesn’t like to swim either.” She giggles as I tickle her tummy. “Ok have fun.” She smiles going out to the water. Abree starts putting the sea shells on the castle that we found earlier. I watch Lennox goof around with chad, and I know he is gay but I can’t help but feel jealous. I really like Lennox she isn’t like a lot of girls. I see them all goofing around and splashing each other and laughing. Abree tugs on my arm, “can we find more sea shells?” she smiles. “sure.” I laugh grabbing a bucket to put them in. we walk to the tide and pick up the shells we find. I see Lennox coming up to us, “hey.” She smiles. She took down her hair; her curls are down to her hips. She looks so pretty. “h-hi.” I say looking away and blushing. “Aboo its nap time lets go back.” Lennox says taking her hand. “Awe but I wanna play more.” She whines. “Fine then you’re going to bed early.” Lennox says. “Ok!” Abree smiles taking our hands. We swing her up and she giggles and shrieks as her feet touch the cool water. Lennox giggles and smiles at her little cousin.

***************A few hours later**********

We all are sitting in the living room watching TV. Abree went to bed after dinner she was so tired she was crying. She made Lennox and I tuck her in. “I’m going to bed.” Lennox yawns standing up from the love seat we are on. “Night! Knox!” max says. “Night freak.” She says shoving his head as she leaves the room. We laugh and he rolls his eyes. “Night boys.” Dan says walking down the hall. I notice it is midnight. “Niall! Wake up!” Liam says shaking him slightly. “Ugh, I’m going to bed.” He whines going up the stairs. “Awe wittle nialler is tired.” Louis laughs walking upstairs after him. Harry and Liam follow them up. I stand up, “night max.” I say yawning. “night.” He says turning off the TV. I walk upstairs after the rest of the boys. I open the door and see Lennox getting in bed. I take off my shirt and she scoots over in her bed, “um will you, sleep with me again?” she asks quietly, I can tell she is scared the way she is playing with her fingers and the look on her face. I get in bed, “don’t worry, its ok. Nothing can hurt you.” I say hugging her. She nods and I turn off her lamp. We lay down and I pull the covers up over both of us. I pull her closer and she snuggles into my chest. I feel her breath on my bare skin. I scoot down and cover the blankets over us more. I fall asleep fast with the girl I like in my arms.
