Chapter eight

Lennox pov

                I wake up in the dark to a loud banging on my door. Zayn groans and turns over covering his head with the pillow. I giggle and crawl to the end of my bed and get down to open my door as the guys do, to see why someone I knocking on our doors so early. “Finally, guys wake up we are leaving in an hour.” Max says and turns away, “by the way nice hickey Lennox.” He chuckles. I grab on to the top of his underwear and kick his butt. “Owe what the hell Lennox?” he whines stumbling to the stairs. “I'm not in the mood to deal with your fucking shit.” I say slamming my door. I hear the guys burst out in laughter. Zayn sits up and smirks at me sheepishly, “sorry.” He whispers. I shake my head no and go over to him, “don’t be.” I say lying on top of him snuggling. “We are never gonna get ready if you do that.” he chuckles sitting up making me slide off him. “Ugh, but I don’t want to drive!” I laugh. “We can switch off.” He yawns sitting up and sliding out of bed. I nod and sit up; I go to my closet, “crap I forgot to pack shoes.” I say pulling out my red brown and bejeweled cowgirl boots. “You really have three pairs of boots?” Zayn laughs. “These are work ones,” I giggle holding up the brown ones, “and these are the fancy ones.” I giggle holding up the other ones. He shakes his head and pulls out his clothes, “you are special.” He says kissing my cheek. “I know.” I giggle shoving the red and brow boots, along with a pair of tennis shoes and some flip flops into a bag. I go into my closet and get out my white shorts and blue see-through shirt, white kami and bra. I slip them on and walk out of my closet slipping on my bejeweled boots. I go to the bathroom and bump hips with Zayn making him scoot over. He chuckles and I pull out my cover-up, “sorry.” He whispers again seeing me start putting it on my neck. I set down the bottle and applicator and turn to him, “stop Zayn seriously, I get why you did it and I don’t care.” I say putting my hand on his cheek and rubbing soft circles with my thumb. He nods and hugs me, “thank you.” He says muffled into my shoulder. I nod and kiss his cheek; he smiles and kisses my cheek back. I continue putting cover-up on my love bite. I get it the best I can and put on some mascara quick. I brush out my hair and part it so more hair is on the side with the love bite. We both pull out our tooth brushes and start brushing. I giggle and spit and rise, “you are weird.” Zayn says after rinsing out his mouth. “I know.” I laugh going out to my bed and putting some things in my bag to take to the car. Zayn hugs me from behind, “better get going.” He says. I smile and turn around, “stop doing that we’ll never get out of here.” I giggle mocking him. He shakes his head chuckling; he grabs my shoe bag and his bag with our pillows and hiking backpacks that lion packed for us and put in our rooms. We set down our stuff along with everyone else’s at the front door. We hear everyone talking in the kitchen. We walk in, “and here are the love birds.” Louis laughs. I look down and shake my head blushing, I get a muffin and a juice from the counter and we sit down at the table with everyone. “Max care to explain what happens every day at Boppa’s?” Uncle Dan asks. “Make Lennox, I have to go and do something quick before we leave, for boy scouts.” He says leaving the table. “And he just made that up. Well um boppa wakes us up at seven, and we have breakfast and at breakfast we get our jobs for the day. Then we have ten minutes to get changed and ready to do yard work and stuff, and then we have lunch and we have the rest of the day to do whatever we want. We usually go swimming, hiking, climbing, have ATV races, soccer matches it’s fun.” I say shrugging my shoulders. “Sounds like fun.” Harry grins. I nod and take a bite of my muffin, “I bet I can beat you on ATV’s niall says to Liam. “Oh you’re on!” he says shaking niall’s hand. Dan and Lara laugh, “Well who is going with who? Lennox can take three, we get Abree, and max gets whoever else.” Lara asks. “Harry Louis Zayn with me, Liam and niall with max.” I say grabbing my keys off the counter. “Ok, get your stuff in the right car and we will meet you there.” Dan says. We all go to the front hall where all our bags are and get, our hiking backpacks, sleeping bag and pillows, and clothes bag, well I have two. “Nice boots Lennox.” Liam chuckles. “thanks.” I laugh rolling my eyes. “She has red and brown ones too.” Zayn laughs. They all burst out laughing; I laugh and shake my head. We go out to our designated cars, and pile the bags in the trunk. I put my purse and books in the front seat and climb in as the guys get settled in the back and Zayn next to me. “Crap wait one second.” I laugh grabbing my gps and getting out of the Jeep. “Max, what’s Boppa’s address?” I ask going over to him as he puts his bags in the back with Liam and niall. “I'm am not on speaking terms with you right now.” He grumbles slamming the back of his grey jeep. “Well Mr. grumpy pants.” I giggle going over to Uncle Dan instead. I hear Liam and niall laughing and getting in max’s jeep. “What’s Boppa's address?” I yawn handing Uncle Dan my gps. He types it in and hands it back, “call you about meeting for lunch.” He says. “k.” I say going back to my jeep. “K got it the address lets go.” I say plugging in the gps and starting the car. Max already left since he is pissed at me. I pull out after Uncle Dan and Aunty Lara. Zayn turns on the radio and ‘kiss you’ just came on. Zayn starts singing his part, and harry follows. I giggle as they all start singing and dancing along like the music video. Then Hannah Montana comes on, “what the heck?” I ask changing it quickly. “Awe but it was Hannah Montana!” Louis whines. “NO!” we all say and laugh as he shrinks down in his seat. “This is gonna be a long car ride.” I laugh shaking my head. They all chuckle as we pull out of to the highway. My phone starts ringing from my pocket, 'I love you this big, Eyes have never seen this big, No one's ever dreamed this big, and I'll spend the rest of my life, Explaining what words cannot describe but I'll try, I love you this big.' “Oh its Janelle!” I say taking out my phone and handing it to Zayn. “put it on speaker.” I say. He hits the answer button and speaker. “Jello!” I giggle. “Ugh really don’t call me that.” she laughs. “Oh you know you love it. Guys say hi.” I laugh. “Hi!” harry and Zayn say. “Ello Janelle, do you like carrots by chance?” Louis asks. “Um yea?” she laughs. “I like your accent.” Louis sys sitting back in his seat. “Thank you.” She laughs even harder. “She is from Tennessee.” I giggle. “No really Lennox.” Harry laughs. “Well she could be form Alabama or something.” I laugh switching lanes. “Ok anyway Lennox we are about three hours away and Kayla and Justin are about an hour away she said when she called but its Kayla so we never know about that. And nana said that boppa got the tree house wired so there is now electricity up there…” I cut her off. “Janelle your rambling again.” I laugh. “oops.” She laughs. The guys are chuckling and I here James in the background, “Lennox, James say you still owe him ten bucks.” Jello giggles. “I do not he is the one that owes my fifty!” I laugh. “He says you were dreaming.” She laughs. “Yea ok James.” I say sarcastically. “Here jack wants to talk.” Janelle says there is some shuffling. “Hi lex!” the little boy. “Hey jack what's up bud?” I asks biting my nail and paying attention to the road. “I don’t know I just want to say hi.” He giggles. “Ok hi.” I laugh. “bye.” he shouts and there is some shuffling again. I shake my head laughing, “Sorry he’s hyper James thought it was a good idea to give him gummy bears.” Janelle laughs. “Oooo can we get gummy bears?” Louis asks moving forward. “NO!” we all say. He pouts again and slums back in his seat. “Oh were stopping see you soon.” She laughs. “Yep, love you bye.” I say. “Bye, love you too.” She says and it goes dead. “Oh jello gotta love jello.” I giggle putting my phone on the dash. “Why do you call her jello?” Zayn laughs. “I don’t know, I have since we could talk.” I shrug. They laugh and we continue driving for long ten and a half more hours.
