Chapter nine

Zayn pov

                After lunch I switched off to driving harry and Louis were sleeping finally and not being annoying. Lennox fell asleep just now. she has her head up against the window, but is still holding my hand. It is about five more hours and we are about two hours away from Utah. Right now I'm following Dan through the mountains and they are not fun to drive through. We hit a big bump and Lennox wakes up, “that scared me.” she laughs leaning back in her seat. I smile and put both hands on the steering wheel. She pulls her book out of her bag and starts reading, “Kevin is a pigeon! And he’s mine.” Louis mumbles in his sleep. We look at each other and laugh at his random out burst. She goes back to reading her book and we get out of the mountains and on to the regular road. “What’s the book about?” I ask taking her hand again. She lifts her legs up in the seat and sits Indian style. “um this girl Ariel turns fifteen and gets these powers to talk to the dead, and  her friend went missing the summer before and are trying to find out how these girls are randomly going missing in there town, it’s weird.” she laughs. “Who do you think did it?” I laugh. “Either the principle or this history teacher seems kinda fishy.” She laughs. “Lennox phone starts buzzing. “Hi, um sure ok? Yea we will, bye.” She laughs. “Stop at the gas station up there apparently we are switching and getting niall and Liam.” She laughs. “Niall is whining about food.” I laugh. She shrugs and I pull into the gas station. Lennox gets out and starts getting gas in the jeep since we are almost out. Harry and Louis wake up, “what's going on?” harry asks. “You’re going with max for the rest of the way.” I say. “ok.” Louis yawns getting out of the car. They grab their things and go over to max’s car. Liam and niall come over, “want me to drive?” Liam asks. “Sure go ahead.” I laugh getting in the back. “I am gonna use the bathroom and then we can go.” Lennox says shoving her credit card in her purse and handing it back to me in the back seat. Liam gets in the front seat, “I'm getting food.” Niall says running in the store. I look at Liam and we both get out knowing this will take a while. Liam takes the keys and we walk in the gas station. Niall is grabbing bags of crisps and candy like there is no tomorrow. I laugh and go and grab a rock star. Lennox comes out of the bathroom with Abree and Lara. “Can I get candy?” Abree asks. “No I don’t think that’s a good idea.’ Lara laughs taking Abree and getting her something else. “I really don’t want to sit in the car anymore.” Lennox says grabbing a coke. “Get me one?” Liam asks. She grabs another and hands it to Liam. Niall is at the checkout and has three bags of food. We walk up behind him, “ni have enough?” Lennox giggles. “I don’t know it is five more hours.” He shrugs. We all laugh and pay for our drinks. “Are we still in Nevada?” harry asks when we get out. Niall hands him two waters. “Yep two more hours and we are finally in Utah then three more hours and we are there.” Dan says. We all groan and get in the cars. Lennox and I get in the back and Liam and niall get in the front.

Max pov             

                 We switched who was going with who, it has been five minutes and I already made a mistake. “Boo bear who you texting?” harry says poking Louis cheek. “Stop hazza, no one.” He says swatting Harry’s hand away. Harry grabs his phone, “your texting Luna thought you said it was a hit and run?” harry asks scrolling through the messages. Did Louis have sex with Luna that one night we were at that club? I think to myself. “Harry! Give me my phone back!” Louis screams grabbing at his phone. Harry chuckles and hands it back, “boo bear you will never learn.” Harry says leaning back in his seat and closing his eyes, hopefully to sleep. Did Louis bang Luna? Louis smiles at his phone and response quickly as each of the texts come in. there is defiantly something going on there.

Zayn pov again

By the time we get to Utah, Lennox and I are snuggling in the back seat. She is in my lap while I'm up against the door. She is still reading and I'm playing with her hair. “Ha I knew it was the history teacher!” she says as she nears the end of the book. “What?” niall and Liam laugh at the same time but niall crisps falling out of his mouth from the last bag of chips.  “The history teacher kidnapped and put this girl in bag in a barrel, in the book, I knew it was him.” She says biting her thumb nail. “Well that sounds like a weird book.” Niall laughs. “Awe no don’t shoot henry,” she turns the page, “and he’s dead.” She yawns. I look at niall who is confused and laughing a lot. She starts reading again after shaking her head and giggling at niall. She turns the page, “oh really don’t tell me if she dies thank you.” She sighs throwing the book on the floor. “Well someone’s upset.” I laugh. “It’s annoying I hate cliff hangers and the next book doesn’t come out for a long time.” She yawns turning around so her chest is on mine and her face is in my neck. I rub her back and kiss her neck, “I’ll keep you entertained.” I whisper. She giggles, “Thanks.” She says looking up at me. I laugh and peck her lips, “awe please don’t start snogging.” Niall and Liam say at the same time. I look at Lennox and wiggle my eyebrows she leans in and we start kissing, “why did we say that.” niall groans. We both laugh and keep kissing, “five miles and you will reach your destination.” The GPS says. “finally.” We all say and break the kiss. Lennox and I sit up in our seats and pull our shoes back on. “oh yea don’t know if you know but boppa and nana have a great Dane he’s the sweetest but he love to kiss just beware, his name is Zeus.” She says shoving her book in her purse. “Zeus really?’ niall asks. “Well he is like ginormous, he is like twice the size he was supposed to be, but he honestly wouldn’t hurt a fly, he’s older now too so he probably won’t bother you.” She says. “No signal.”  The GPS says. “K I know where to go from here, see that road up there,” Liam nods, “turn there and that’s their driveway it’s like a mile and a half to the house.” Lennox says pointing to an opening it the woods. “Well that’s a long driveway.” Niall laughs. She laughs and nods, “yea we have races down and back and I usually win” Lennox giggles texting someone. We hit an opening it the branches and see a huge cabin and a ton of cars in the grass, “go park over by the other cars.” Lennox smiles. Liam does as he is told and turns off the engine. We are the first ones here max had to stop twice for Louis to use the bathroom and Abree also. We get out, and a huge grey Great Dane comes running up to us, “hi Zeus, hey buddy.” Lennox says petting him. “He is huge.” Niall laughs. “Lennox!” a girl screams coming out from the house. “Jello!” Lennox says hugging her when she comes over. "I’ve missed you!” they both say and giggle. “Oh guys this is Janelle, Janelle Liam Zayn and niall.” She smiles. “I know who they are I don’t live under a rock.” Janelle smiles. We laugh, “Nice to meet you.” Liam says shaking her hand. “I do hugs.” Janelle says hugging him. We all laugh and he hugs her back. Niall hugs her and then I do. The other cars pull up, and harry and Louis and max hop out right away. “I swear to god I made the worst mistake in my life today.” Max says hugging Janelle. “Had a feeling you would be annoyed by them that’s why I took them in the first place.” Lennox laughs. “I'm still not talking to you.” Max says. “God Mr. grumpy still has something up his butt.” Lennox says. “Yes my underwear!” max shouts going to the house. “Do you want me to do it again?” Lennox asks walking after him. “Just follow me, I'm Janelle.” She says to harry and Louis. They hug her also, “I'm guessing you know who we are?” harry laughs. “Yea just a little, when Kayla comes back you might want to run by the way.” Janelle giggles leading us in the house. “Whoa big dog.” Louis say petting him. “That’s Zeus.” Janelle giggles. We walk in the cabin and see a huge stair case and a living room off to the left, and a giant kitchen off to the left, Lennox and max are hugging what seems to be their grandparent and some aunts and uncles. “Oh yea, um uncle James, aunt tia, uncle , aunt fern, uncle Paul, aunt Wendy, and uncle tom, this is Liam Louis harry niall and Zayn.” Lennox says. “To many names.” Lennox says. We all laugh, “And boppa James and nana fern.” She smiles. “Hi!” we all say. “So which one is Lennox dating again?” I think tom says. I raise my hand shyly blushing. “Don’t be a jerk tom!” fern says. “Well they look like brother and sister so it’s weird to Me.” he says leaving out the garage door. “And he’s drunk.” Janelle and Lennox says at the same time. “When isn’t he?” max laughs. “true.” Everyone laughs. “Come in make yourselves at home boys.” Nana says. “Call me nana.” She says taking my arm and pushing me next to Lennox. Everyone looks to be cooking in the giant kitchen. “Call me boppa, you’re gonna be adopted grandchildren for the week.” Boppa James says. We all laugh and Abree Lara and Dan come in. “boppa! Nana!” Abree says running in the kitchen and hugging them. “Hey aboo.” Boppa says picking her up. Lennox and Janelle are talking about something. Lennox sees me looking at her and holds out her hand for me. I walk over and take it, “guys I just fell out of a tree my boobs and arm hu—“ a girl says coming in she looks about 18 and is blonde with brown eyes. “Holy shit your hotter in person.” She says after a good thirty second break. We all burst out laughing, “well thought she would flip out more than that.” Janelle laughs. “Guys this is Kayla.” Lennox giggles. “Knoxy!” Kayla says skipping over and hugging Lennox. “I'm guess she already knows our names.” Harry laughs. “She knows basically everything she could possibly find out about you.” Janelle giggles. We all chuckle as she blushes, “ok I have to make sure my boobs aren’t bruised they hurt really bad.” She says walking out the door she came in. we all look at Janelle and Lennox, “told you she’s crazy.” Lennox giggles. “Ok dinner will be ready in an hour go show them the tree house.” Nana says pushing us out of the kitchen. Lennox takes my hand and we walk back to the cars. “Max!” we hear some guys yell. “Hey!” he says running off in their direction they are kicking around a football or soccer ball whatever they call it and max joins in. “that’s Justin, James, and Willy, you can meet them properly later.” Lennox says to us. We nod and  back to their jeeps. We grab our bags and Janelle is talking to harry and Louis. “So it’s a tiny walk through the woods, and there are our bathrooms back there with showers and such.” Lennox says as we walk across the front yard to a tiny path.

sooooo! they finally got to the house! ok so i was bored and really like janelle from american idol this year so she is janelle in my story, cause it needed something really bad and i was getting bored with it so now she is in it and yea....... so if you dont know who she is look up janelle arthur, she is a country singer kinda in a way. i dont like country but i like her sooo that says something.
