I love fanfiction.

I write it, I read it, I support people's ideas and their style of fanfiction whether it be smut or fluff.

But I've found, especially in the 1D and 5sos fandoms, that fanfiction authors include rape in their stories.

Reality Check.

NO GIRL NOR BOY WOULD FALL IN LOVE WITH THEIR RAPIST.

I DON'T GIVE A FUCK IF IT'S HARRY STYLES.

I DON'T GIVE A FUCK IF IT'S MICHAEL CLIFFORD.

That is royally fucked up.

It's become something people throw around now. "Liam Payne raped me and now I'm in love with him."

No. Absolutely not. That is absolutely disgusting and I feel so bad for rape victims who can't be taken seriously when it's seen as okay to be raped.

No matter if they're a famous band member, no matter if they're a rich celebrity, if it's someone you've met before, or even someone who've never seen in your life.

Rape is not okay.

Which leads me to my next point about fandoms and rape.

Fangirls.

I've seen so many tweets, messages, tumblr posts, all stating, "I'd let so and so rape me."

1. It's not rape if you've given your consent. Understand? Got it? Good.

2. WHAT THE FUCK NO STOP RAPE IS NOT OKAY STOP SAYING THAT. IT'S SICK AND IT'S TWISTED AND I HOPE YOU'RE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF.

You need to take a bath.

With holy water.

And a fucking bible.

Because bitch, you've written sins and tragedies. Brendon would be so disappointed.
