Alright everyone! Your next chapter!

Pacing the small motel room, my most troubling thought was the vampire. That’s the only way to explain one of my biggest problems right now. On top of covering my tracks to hide myself from my family, having the overwhelming urge to mark my mate, struggling to steal my parents money without them knowing (because they are loaded, and I'm broke), and adjusting to this new town, I had this dumb vamp to worry about. He had been stalking me all day. The creep had even followed me outside for gym. The guy was lucky that it was overcast, or else he would have burst into flames.

I knew that I had intruded on his territory, but there was only one of him that I knew about. Werewolves are way stronger then vampires. It takes a few vamps to take down a werewolf, but it only took one werewolf to kill a couple vamps. I knew I would have to kill the blood sucker soon, before he had the chance to hurt anyone else in the town. It was bad enough that he even knew I was here to begin with.

On top of the stupid vampire, there was also a hunter in town. Someone that knew who and what I am. I need to find out who they are and kill them first. My silver wound had finally healed, and I'm not looking to get another one.

Hunters are some of the few people that know of the existence of vampires, werewolves, and a whole range of other mythical beings. There are things out there in the world that are bigger and scarier than even me. And tons of people are terrified of werewolves.

I knew there was something off about the town when I had first got here, but I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was. I've discovered that this huge city is the home to vamps, hunters and probably other wicked creatures of the night. But most importantly, it was the home of my mate.

Gosh! He is so freaking cute, the way all the small stuff can make him blush. I would like to say that he has opened up to me, but he seems to be very open about his thoughts and feelings any way. He has an amazing personality. He is so great to everyone. Brayden talks to people he just met as if he has known them for years, and like they're best friends so he can make them feel more at ease. He is able to diffuse any sort of awkward situation with just a few words. He was overall amazing. He doesn't let what other people say get to him; he just acts like he doesn't hear it!

The one thing that seemed to top everything about him off, was that he knows that he isn't perfect. He is self-conscious, and sometimes shy or nervous in a situation where he doesn't know anyone. These first two weeks with him have been amazing. The only problem I've had with being near him for so long was that I felt an overwhelming desire to mark him as mine every time he comes too close.

The urge to sink my teeth into the soft flesh of his neck was driving me crazy. I'm lucky my wolf hasn't stirred too much around him, because I feel my eyes flash yellow when he is too close to me.

My thoughts were jumping around in my head between the vampire, the hunter, and my amazing mate when I heard my new phone buzz signaling a text message. I walked over to the table to see that the message was from Brayden. My insides seemed to melt knowing that my mate wanted to talk to me. I checked the time to see that it was about ten o'clock at night.

The message read: Hey, I was just checking to see if you were up... If you’re not, then good night!

I almost couldn't keep the excitement at bay while I typed a response to his message. i’m up. how r u? how was ur day?

A few moments later he sent back a response. It was alright. Everything was fine at school, but once I got to the campground everything went sour :P
