Erm.. Who Are You Again? (Boy x Boy)

Chapter 6

So I wanted this to be part of the last chapter, So I'll jujst go ahead and jump right back in.

It wasn't untill I made the move to get up that I realized that my foot had been bandadged.Henry looked at me when he saw me looking at my foot.

"You have 32 stitches in you leg son. Like I said earlier, we did have to operate on you to remove the silver. It had not only penitrated the skin, but actually scraped up against your bone. What made it even worse was that you got up and gimped around after. The silver had moved around inside your muscles and ligaments and caused even more damage. What the hell happened?"

I looked at him, unable to believe that it had been that bad. "I was at the mall, looking for... someone... using my sences. I was sitting on one of the benches, and as I had been using my sences of smell, a vamp had come right up to me and jerry rigged a fork so that It would stab me when I stood."

"Well that explains the shape of the prongs that were inside your shin. We have doctors that are apart of the pack. They actually preformedc the surgery here in this room." He pulled a pair of crutches out from under the bed. "They say that you should be using these for about the next two weeks."

We both stood at the same time. I realized that since it was my left leg that had been Injured, I could still use my right leg to drive.

Henry and I left the safe room and ascended the stairs. I noticed that the housewas smaller then I had originally thought. It wasn't nearly as big as my parents house. It was much smaller, and very cozy looking. Unlike my parents house, this house looked like it had been lived in. With my parents' house, there was always someone there cleaning, dusting and sweeping. The house always looked immaculate. However, here, there were things out of place. Shoes were where they didn't belong in the middle of the floor, toys were out of place. You could tell that there was an actual family living in the house.

Henry led me to the front door, and handed me the keys to my truck.

"You drive, I will give you directions how to ge there. It's really just around a few corners..."

I crutched my way to my car. Since my truck wasn't all that big, it's only an s-10, I laid the crutches in the bed of the truck. I hopped twice to the driver's door, and climed in. I had to re-adjust my mirrors and seat since whoever drove last was much smaller then I was.

Before long we had made it to the house. It was a cozy, even more then the alpha's had been, Ranch style house. Henry gave me a quick tour of the fully furnished house, and made sure to shsow me right where the panic room was. Before he left, he decided to sit me down for another talk on the couch.

"Now son, this place is yours, and yours alone until I have a reason to take it from you. I'm sure you must have noticed that we, my pack, dont have nearly as much money as your pack."

It was something that I had noticed. These people didn't live lavishly in huge houses, with sports cars and, well, you know. All of the expensive things my pack has back home. It was something that I had noticed, but I wasn't about to point it out.

"Well, now that you mention it, I do see that..." I said casually as I looked around the room. The walls here were bare. No pictures, or paintings. It was a home for someone to move into and hang up memories as they grew old. It was clearly a new place.

"Son, do you know what your parents do to make all the money they have? How they got so rich?'

It was a loaded question. I honestly had no idea. My parents were gone all the time for buisness meeetings in other states and countries all the time. They have tried to invite me to buisness meetings with them. But I had always refused. they always said it would help me to better understand being an alpha.
