It was GiGi.
"Hey I'm supposed to come get you tw-" she stopped right there once she noticed our actions.
"Oh my god." She says in shock.
"GiGi?" Cade says softly, "Please don't tell dad and Misty." Cade begs.
She just shakes her head then starts rambling off about things.
"Oh my god this is all my fault. My head has been stuck up my ass lately with this whole college thing and I haven't been paying attention. How could I do that to Brynn and my little brother and most importantly my new family?" She says to herself.
"Gi, it's not your fault!" Cade shouts.
Wow, I can't believe she really thinks its her fault.
"Yeah Gi, Cade and I love each other." I say as Cade wraps his arms around me.
"Please don't tell?" Cade says sounding more like a question.
"I-I...... Ok," she finally says," but I don't support it. You know it's illegal right?"
"Yes Gi, we do and thank you so much!" Cade says.
"Anything for my baby brother, especially for true love," she says. "And I'm glad it's you Brynn, and not some crazy girl."
We both just smile and start walking back to the table.
"What took you so long?" My mom asks.
"Well, Brynn had some really bad stomach problems." Cade says waving his hand above his nose.
I stomp on his foot.
"Did not." I say sternly.
Cade just laughs.
"You two are hysterical." My mom laughs.
"Yeah, hysterical." GiGi says sarcastically.
I just brush it off and that's when the waiter finally brings our food out. By the time we got done eating it was 9pm and we all piled back up in the SUV.
Because it was so dark Cade and I got to hold hands the whole way back home. I eventually fell asleep before we got back but woke up to movement of Cade picking me up from my seat.
"I'll carry her to bed." He says.
"Thank you very much Cade." My mom says.
Cade takes me up to my room and lays me down in my bed then leaves.
He later returns after every one else is asleep and cuddles up to me in my bed.
"I love you Brynn." He whispers in my ear.
"I love you too Cade." I whisper back, and with that I fall asleep.
