KAYLEE’S POV
“Whatever,” I told him as I got up and ran for the door as soon as Nicholas told me about why he had the box of condoms.
He reached above me and held the door shut, he was so much taller than me, there was no way I could over power him. "...I don't think I love Skylar," was all I heard Nicholas say. My jaw dropped.
“What?” I asked him, completely in shock.
“I don’t think I love Skylar anymore,” He repeated.
“Then, what—“I started but he interrupted me.
“Kaylee—“He started but his lips crashed into mine.
He kissed me on the lips lightly at first, and then he pulled away to meet my eyes, but not for long. Was I really kissing Nicholas? Was he telling me the truth, that he didn’t love Skylar? I let my mind wonder, but then I brought myself back to reality. His tongue ran across my bottom lip, I opened my mouth a bit, letting his tongue meet mine. Of course, I had watched many movies with make-out scenes, but I was afraid I wasn’t doing anything right. This was my first kiss. I figured I was doing something right when Nicholas lifted me off of my feet. My legs where on either side of him, which made my skirt get pulled up to my waist, showing my underwear, but I don’t think he noticed. He walked around his room with me in his arms, still kissing me. I ran my hand through his hair; it felt good in between my fingers.
“Nicholas, are you guys hu—“I heard a voice from the doorway, I recognized it as Nicholas’s mother.
“Mom! Can’t you knock?” Nicholas shouted, still holding me.
I inched out of his arms, and my feet found the floor. I pulled down my skirt, which was exposing my underwear, “Mrs. Preston, I’m so sorry. I was just leaving,” I said, grabbing my book bag.
“Kaylee, you’re fine. I was just asking if you two were hungry. I made cookies,” She said, setting a green plate filled with chocolate chip cookies on Nicholas’s desk. She scrambled out of the room and went downstairs to tend to Cameron who I heard crying.
I felt a tear escape from my eye, Nicholas brought his thumb up to my face to wipe it off, “I’m sorry, Kaylee. I didn’t hear her come up,” He told me, touching my cheek softly.
I was beyond embarrassed, “She saw,” I said as I started to cry.
“Shh. It’s okay,” He said, grabbing my hand in his.
NICHOLAS’S POV
Once I told Kaylee that I didn’t love Skylar anymore, I kissed her. Not just a little peck on the lips, but a full on make out. I lifted her off the ground, and started walking around my room. Her skirt went up around her waist, and I managed to sneak a peek of her yellow and pink underwear; I think Skylar has the same ones. Okay, okay, too far. She was an amazing kisser, I enjoyed every moment. I stuck my tongue in her mouth, she hesitated a bit, but I assured her everything was okay. Next thing I know, my mom comes in asking if we were hungry. Poor Kaylee looked as if she were about to pass out.
“She saw,” She told me, crying.
“Shh. It’s okay,” I told her, taking her hand in mine. To be completely honest, my mom has walked in on Skylar and me, let’s just say neither of us had clothes on. My mom has seen the absolute worst, but I wouldn’t tell Kaylee that.
