Hey guys! I tried to make sure this chapter was longer. It was 6 (almost 7) pages on Microsoft Word, so I hope it's long! This chapter is pretty intense. Something totally unpredictable happens!
Well, I'll stop talking and let you read. Enjoy! (:

NICHOLAS’S POV
Recap:
“Okay. So why are you here?” She asked me.
“Skylar, we need to talk,” I started.
***
“I have something to say, but you go first,” She told me, closing her computer and turning her chair to look at me.
“No, you go,” I told her, trying to put this off as long as possible. I sat down on her bed.
“No, it’s not that important. You go,” She edged, obviously it wasn’t that important, so I started.
“Skylar, I like you a lot. Actually, I love you, or I thought I did,” Her mouth dropped, “Right now, I think it’d be best if we weren’t together. I have some things I need to get sorted out, and figure out what I want. I want us to still be friends though, alright?” I told her, but I could tell she was about to lose it.
Her voice was shaky, I could tell she was trying to fight back tears, “What made you do this all of the sudden?” She asked me, looking at her shoes.
“I dunno. I think it’s just time for a change,” I told her, trying to get her to look at me.
“You like that Kayla girl, don’t you?” Skylar questioned me.
“Kaylee?”
“Yeah, her. You’ve been sneaking around with her, haven’t you?” She asked, now she had tears pouring out of her eyes, and I couldn’t help but feel sorry for her. I couldn’t lie.
“For a few days, yes.”
That did it, she started crying, it was almost like a dam had broke and the water rushed out, “I-I-I can’t be-believe you would do-do that. I thought you l-l-loved me!”
“I did, Sky. But things change. I’m sorry,” I said, placing my hand on her knee for comfort.
She shoved it off, “Well, you might as well go, there’s no point in you being here,” She told me, standing up and showing me to the door.
“Wait, what did you need to tell me?” I asked her, getting up to follow her.
“It’s nothing, really,” Skylar told me, trying to shield her eyes. I’m guessing so I can’t see her tears.
“Sky, you need to tell me. There’s obviously something wrong and I need to know what it is,” I told her, blocking the door so she couldn’t get out.
“Stop it, Nicholas! It’s not like you would care anyways. You need to leave,” She told me, trying to get me out of the way of the door.
“Tell me. Now.”
She looked at me, defeated, “I’m pregnant.”
KAYLEE’S POV
“So, peanut, who was the boy?” My father asked me as soon as Nick left.
“Just a friend, dad. We’ve been paired up for a project together. We have to interview each other and write a biography on each other’s lives. We were just trying to get ahead on the interview, that’s all,” I told him, hopefully he’d stop questioning.
