Hey guys! Sorry for the late update. I know this is one story where I really don't keep up with my updates. I'll try to get better at that. This is the last chapter of this story until I get back from the beach on July 16th. So please read slowly and enjoy! (:

KAYLEE’S POV
My alarm clock couldn’t have gone off at a worse time. I eventually had to get out of bed and face the school day ahead of me, so I better start now. I rolled over to my side to hit the alarm hard enough for it to stop buzzing. I drug myself out of bed and into the bathroom where I washed my face and brushed my teeth. When I went back into my room, I opened my closet door and stepped back, deciding on what to wear.
I eventually decided on a v-neck gray tee-shirt that said ‘Los Angeles’ and jeans; nothing too fancy or different, because I was totally not in the mood for dressing up today. I put on light pink eye-shadow and black eyeliner. I’d focus on my makeup today. I wore my hair in braids and put on my white converses.
“Hey, Peanut,” My dad said once I got downstairs.
“Hi,” I mumbled and reached for my coat off the rack.
“Remember Cindy is coming today, so be home by five,” My father said looking up from the paper.
“Right, I’ll just cancel with Collin. Wait, why aren’t you at work?” I asked him; usually he was at work right at six-thirty. It was seven.
“I took the day off to spend with you and Cindy. I was wondering if maybe you’d want to skip school and spend the day with me,” My dad said as he took a long sip of his coffee.
“Dad, are you seriously asking me to ditch school to spend the day with you?” I said, baffled.
“I guess I am. What do you say?” He asked me.
“Dad, I’d love to, but I need to be at school. I don’t think it’d be very good if I missed my third day of school. I’ll see if I can get out early,” I told him as I grabbed my back pack.
“Sure, Peanut,” He said, he sounded hurt.
“Sorry, dad. I just can’t miss school. I’m sorry,” I said going around hugging him goodbye. With that, I was out the door and on my way to school.
I walked the whole way to school today, without running into Nick. I couldn’t avoid him forever; I was going to have to confront him and face that we made out last night. I reached the school building and walked into the parking lot only to find Nick and Skylar getting out of Nick’s car, walking hand-in-hand. Go figure. They were a good fifty feet ahead of me, so I sat back and let them go into school so it didn’t look like I was following them.
NICHOLAS’S POV
I walked into school holding Skylar’s hand, and everything seemed back to normal; how it should be. I felt bad not texting or calling Kaylee today to see if she needed a ride, but I figured I’d ask if Skylar needed a ride. I needed to either tell Kaylee that last night was a mistake or tell Skylar that we’re done. I don’t want to tell Skylar we’re done after we’ve been dating for almost two years and then run to Kaylee who I’ve known for three days.
“…So what do you think, Nick?” Skylar said looking at me from the desk across from me.
Woah, I didn’t even realize we were in class, “Oh, that sounds good, Sky,” I told her, not knowing what I was agreeing to.
