A U R O R A

Tapos na pala kami sa performance task namin at masayang-masaya ako sa result ng performance ko. I got an A+. Sinabi kasi agad ni Sir ang mga resulta sa performance namin.

May iba na nakapasa, may iba na okay lang, at may iba rin na bagsak dahil hindi ganun ka ganda ang kanilang mga boses. Acting at sayaw lang kasi ang alam nila.

As for Jeon, expected na talaga na mataas ang performance niya.

Apat lang kami ang naka A+. Si Jeon(obvious na), ako(pangalawang sabi ko na ito), si Leeya(tsk, I know, may boses pala ang palakang toh), at si hindi-ko-alam-ang-pangalan-basta-kaklase-ko-siya.

"Are you excited?" Tanong ni Jeon sa akin pagkatapos naming mag-practice sa sayaw.

"For the festival?" Nag-nod naman siya sa simabi ko. "Yes...and a little bit nervous" pag-sasagot ko sa tanong niya.

Of course I'll get nervous, especially na first time akong pe-perform, at sayaw pa naman ito. Tumawa lang siya sa sagot ko at pinisil niya ang mga pisngi ko.

Tsk. Tigilan mo na yang pagka-sweet mo...dahil baka matuluyan na itong nararamdaman ko para sa iyo.

(Haha corny)

Next day...

School's the same as ever, except for the fact na palaging nagpapawalang gana si Leeya, though hindi na siya nagbubully sa akin, hanggang bibig na lang siya ngayon. Takot ata sa akin. Haha

I  can't help but feel excited with a little bit of nervousness. Three days left until the festival and I..--I mean we are pretty much confident about the dance. Na-memorize na kasi namin at na-master na din namin ito.

"Hey hey, I heard that there's another transfer student today" I accidentally heard---or should I say, I am actually eavesdropping the conversation of some unkown students.

So merong transfer student ngayon? Anong big deal naman kung merong transfer student ngayon? Pero let's just hope na sana girl siya tsaka mabait.

"Good Morning students, We have a new transfer student today and please welcome her nicely." Sabi ni Sir.

So totoo talaga na may transfer student.

"Please come inside" sabi ni Sir sa taong na sa labas kaya hindi ko alam kung babae ba siya o lalaki.

Maya-maya ay pumasok na ang bagong estudyante. Napalaki ang mata ko nang makita ko siya.

"Hello everyone, I am Mizu Park. It is a pleasure to meet all of you." Formal niyang sabi.

I smile.

So ganito pala ang feeling kung isa kang transfer student. Nakakapangilabot, but it's good to feel another sentiment every once in awhile, right?

I formally introduced myself to the class to hide my nervousness, when I caught a glimps of someone familiar. And she is smiling at me with full of hospitality.

It's the girl that I met at the park, Aurora Lambent.

It's funny because I don't usually memorize the names of other people, but there is something in her that tells me who she is. If you are keen enough to observe her, you can really tell that she's a simple person but is filled with colorful ambiance.

That's why I like her and I really want to befriend her so I smiled back.

As I walked towards the chair beside her, a girl with hard make-up said something that offended me.

"Tsk. Why would an ugly zombie transfer in this prestigious school? They're just the same with the flirt" 

Ugh. Ipa-expell ko kaya itong babaeng toh? Uncle ko pa naman ang nagmay-ari sa paaralang ito.

I just ignored her. Pero sino yung sinabi nila na flirt?

"Hi. Nice to meet you again" sabi ni Aurora nang naka-upo na ako.

Ngumiti naman ako sa kanya.

"Same to you" sabi ko.

Ang ganda niya talaga. Para siyang half German. Matangos ang kanyang ilong, medyo wavy at kulay brunette ang kanyang buhok, mataas ang kanyang mga pilik-mata, at kulay light brown naman ang kanyang mga mata. May dimples rin siya! Ang cute!

"Ignore them, they're just envious of your beauty" sabi niya. Talaga lang. Mas maganda pa kasi ako kesa sa kanila. Hahaha.

"Hahaha. Pero sino yung sinabi nila na flirt?" I whispered para hindi nila ito marinig.

She looks hesitant at first to answer my question, but still replied.

"Ako"

Siya? Isang flirt? Hindi ko yun ma-imagine. Parang naintindihan naman niya ang mukha ko kaya sinagot niya rin ang tanong na pinakita ko sa mukha ko.

Bumuntong hininga siya.

"Ganito kasi yun..." tapos sinabi niya sa akin lahat-lahat. Luckily hindi naman kami narinig ni Sir.

"Tss. Ang susungit nila. Ipa-expell ko nalang kaya sila?"

"Wait. Related ka ba sa owner ng paaralang ito? Kasi base sa pagsabi mo kanina na ipa-expell sila parang kilalang-kilala mo talaga kung sino ang owner na ito. And since base sa obserbasyon ko, hindi ka yung tipong babae na social, kaya related mo talaga ang owner na ito unless kaibigan ito ng parents mo. At walang tao ang magpapa-expell sa iba unless related o kaibigan kayo sa owner ng school na ito." Mahabang sabi niya.

This is also one of the reason why I like her, she's so smart and so perceptive.

"Yeah, you got it right. Well, the owner of this school is my uncle. But please keep this a secret. I want to keep my life simple." Sabi ko.

She smiled and said, "Your secret is safe with me"

It's the first day of school and I found a trustworthy friend.

I wonder what they are talking about. They are talking for a long time now.

Just when are they planning to rest?
