Inside, the alien found a space pod and he grinned. "Oh! I could just send you somewhere! How about it? When I'm finished here, I'll go get you okay?" Frieza carelessly tossed the sleeping child inside the pod and shut the door. He got to work setting the coordinates and with the push of a button, it flew off.

"Now, let's go tell the little prince that his father killed the boy. It won't be a lie after all!"

It's funny how strong the mind can be. Despite the child's bondmate not being truly gone, Frieza had managed to convince the prince that his father murdered Kakkarot. It was true, but the prince wouldn't let his father explain as the boy beat the king to death.

It was odd though how the king merely took the beating and it wasn't until his heart stopped beating from the blood loss did the prince stop his deadly assualt and let out an earth shattering scream. The boy collapsed in a heap a few feet away from the bloodied mess of his father and cried his little heart out.

He missed his friend. He cared about Kakkarot more than anything, and would've done anything to bring the boy back. The boy wasn't aware, but it was the newly formed bond between the two children that spoke. Vegeta, despite being a child, would've killed everyone if it meant having his 'friend' back.

The prince gagged behind the force of his tears and bile dribbled out of the corner of his mouth as he curled up into a ball and sheilded his his face from the world.

The tears wouldn't stop and Vegeta would've been content to just lay there and wither away so he could be with his friend again.

"My deepest apologies your Highness, but I was trying to tell Kakkarot what your father was planning but...!" Frieza snapped his mouth shut when Vegeta's head shot up and pure unfiltered hatred was swirling in those black depths. "DON'T EVER MENTION HIM!!" The prince screamed. Frieza was taken aback by the prince's outburst but he was inwardly smiling. "If I may your Highness, I'd advise you to heed my words. You are clearly too distraught about...Kakkarot to even think about ruling a kingdom, so I generously offer myself to act in your place until you finish grieving. It is what's best for now..." Frieza said with false concern.

The mentally unstable prince didn't even process the offer and merely nodded as he numbly picked himself up and left the throne room. Onlookers, mostly guards and some staff, immediately parted for the newly appointed king. Meanwhile, the red flame that slept inside his body was quickly being engulfed by the princes own flame. His sorrow was so deep that it threatened to destroy the only thing he had left of his bondmate.

"...ello?....ar...yo...okay?" A child felt himself being pulled out of his slumber and the first thing that crossed his mind was fear.
Kakkarot's eyes snapped open and they landed on a blue-haired girl who wore a relieved smile. Unfortunately, the child didn't react positively as he let out a fearful shriek and tried to burrow deeper into the seat of the spacepod. "Aww, come on little guy, I won't hurt you!" The girl brought one of her hands up to pat the child's head but Kakkarot deeply hissed and batted it away.

The girl frowned. "Hey! I'm just trying to be nice! You don't have to be that way!" She yelled. Kakkarot's demeaner switched from fight to flight as he whimpered at the sound of her tone and curled up.

The girl's eyes softened. "H-Hey, I'm sorry, it's just you practically scared me to death! You crashed in my backyard in this spaceship and I thought you wouldn't wake up!"

Kakkarot slowly uncurled when he realized that he was indeed in some type of ship and he titled his head curiously. How did he get in here? Throwing caution to the wind, the saiyan child poked his head out of the spacepod and peered around.
