A/N: I'M SORRY THERE ALWAYS HAS TO BE AN AUTHORS NOTE. BUT THIS HIT 9.1K READS AND THAT'S JUST CRAZY SO THANKS EVERYBODAYYYYY. Thank you for being patient with me when I barely ever upload and thanks for reading this story when it's like legit crap hehe. <3 Okay I'm done go read this short lousy chapter.
Sean's POV
"Thank God it's lunch. I'm starving and can't take anymore chemistry and girls," I mutter to myself as I slip out of the door as fast as I can. I'm in an especially bad mood because I wasn't able to talk to Bella after writing class because Ms. Abbot made me stay behind and lectured me, not to mention I was nearly late for PE which made that teacher lecture me and it just made a domino effect. I take the spiral escalator down to the ground floor and run out of the Lab to the parking area. I find my Segway and jump onto it. I head in the direction of the Pavillion, my stomach growling. I hear excited chattering behind me and don't even turn around to see how close the girls are to me.
I lean forwards a little more and pray that I won't bump into any more girls.
I realize how stupid I was to pray for that considering I'm at an all girls school as I hear squeals from behind me.
"OHMYGOSH that's either a really manly looking girl or," the girl is cut off by her peers.
"A HORTON BROTHER AHHHHHH!" I flinch at the sound of their screams and glare at my Segway for not being able to go any faster. I internally groan as I hear them nearing me.
"Um, hi..." a hesitant voice says right behind me.
"Who, me?" I ask without looking back, knowing the answer.
"Well, yes. Are you, are you, Sean?" her voice cracks as she says my name.
"Nooo," I tell her sarcastically, rolling my eyes. I hear her gasp, sounding horrified.
"Oh God, you're not Sean? OHHH SNAP, I really did it this time."
I slow down my Segway and turn to look at her, not finding her sarcasm that funny. Which is when I realized that she wasn't being sarcastic. She frantically looks up at me and whimpers.
"I'm so so sorry," she says quietly, not quite meeting my eyes. I can't help myself; I burst out laughing. She glances at me. "Um?" she asks, confused.
"I AM Sean, dumbass!" I can't seem to stop laughing and it seems like the first time I've laughed in ages.
Her eyes widen, then she lets out a breath of relief. "God, I was so scared," she mumbles.
"I like you. What's your name?" I ask her, interested. It seems that all the girls here have great hearing as as soon as the words leave my lips they gasp and growl in jealousy. Hearing the words "I like you" out of a Horton brother must mean everything to them. The girl, who I now was rolling along side with, blinks a few times.
"My, my name?" she stutters.
"Yeah preferably your name," I tell her with a grin. A faint pink color rises to her cheeks.
"Hannah," she blurts out.
"Great, Hannah, let's go to lunch, I'm starving," I tell her as I head for the Pavillion in full speed once more. She nods and turns up her speed to catch up with me. I hear hushed whispers from the girls trailing behind us and can tell their jealousy bubbling. "Don't mind them," I tell her reassuringly.
"Pretty hard not to," she tells me as she catches sight of the glares she's receiving.
"Well it's not your fault you got noticed and not them," I say, waving it off. "Besides you're not really the hugest fan of us are you? I mean you didn't know I was Sean for sure."
