Chapter 12

It was a very stressing hour of rehearsals. They did great, but the fact that Ross was irritated with the people he was with affected the situation. He was bitter, and couldn't help but show how irritated he was with his siblings.

"Okay, that's all for today." The instructor says, breathing a sigh of relief.

"Good show guys," Rocky encourages the people around him.

Ross quickly puts down his guitar, and got ready to leave. Man, he wanted to get away from them so. bad.

"Uh, Ross," Riker suddenly called him.

Ross hesitated to respond, but stopped walking. "What?" He asks.

"I'd like to apologize for what I said earlier. I didn't mean it in a rude wa—"

"Yeah whatever. Can I go now?" Ross cuts him off and raises an eyebrow.

"Oh s-sure. Sorry for bothering you." Riker says.

But before Riker could finish his sentence, Ross had already left. Riker found it a little rude, but decided to just forget about it.

"What's wrong with him? He's been. cold to us from the beggining." Rydel says.

"Yeah. I don't really know. He looks like a good person, maybe he's just not in the mood or so." Riker says while fixing his things.

Rocky just shrugs.

"Hey, let's go and find Ellington. Let's talk to him." Rydel suggests.

"Great idea," Everyone agrees.

"Damn it!" Ross threw the things placed on his table.

Here he was again, having tantrums. Or most likely a breakdown.

He kicked and threw everything in his way, leaving no exceptions.

Ross stopped throwing things when a piece of broken glass sliced his skin. It bleeded badly, but he couldn't care less.

"Why them?!" Ross asks no one in particular, sliding into a sitting position.

He didn't expect to feel this way. It hurt ten times more than the first time he saw them. Knowing that his siblings are completely fine and happy. And they look like they don't even think about him. While Ross on the other hand has gone through a lot. And for a fact that, they didn't recognize him. That he, was their little brother.

Ross shutters as tears start to roll down his cheeks.

Then, the door slowly opens revealing two girls. Alexa and Ella.

"Ross!" Alexa and Ella exclaimed as they laid eyes on a crying and bleeding Ross.

"What happened?!" Ella nervously

Ross didn't respond. He just sat there, staring into thin air.

"Wait," Alexa says as she takes something from her bag. "Good thing I bring my first aid kit everywhere," She says calmly.

Alexa wraps Ross' bleeding arm with a piece of cloth after applying medicine to it.

"Now, let's talk." Alexa adds.

After a few seconds, Ross was back to his senses. He slowly recognized the people in front of him.

"W-what are you doing here?" Ross asks, emotionally.

"Well, I received your text including your address. And by that time, I was at Ella's house. So, I told her and both of us came here." Alexa says.

Ross doesn't respond, but quickly gets up. "Sorry for the mess." He says, fixing the things on the floor.

"Ross, what happened here?" Ella says in a worried tone.

"I, I don't know. I just needed to let it out." Ross takes a deep breath.

Ella walks closer to him, and looks at his pale and tired face.

"What happened?" She asks again, as she caresses Ross' face.

Ross looks into Ella's eyes. Someone to talk to was really something he needed. And here she is, ready to listen.

Ross sighs, then starts talking. He explains the whole thing to Alexa as well, since she had skipped a lot of happenings.

-----------------

After their conversation, Ross went to the balcony to get some fresh air. Then, Alexa approached him.

"Wow. We haven't seen each other in five years, and that was an unexpected meeting." She laughs.

"Sorry. I would've prepared an awesome dinner or so, or maybe a movie to watch. But, this happened." Ross says.

Alexa suddenly stares at Ross. The creepy stare.

"What the hell? You're creeping me out," Ross gently covers her face with his hands.

"That's what I was looking for!" Alexa jumps. "I missed that smiling Ross!"

Ross smiles again, showing his teeth. But soon starts to fade.

"You know what," Alexa says after a few seconds of silence. "I totally salute you. You handled the situation well, and you didn't do anything you'll regret to your siblings. Because if I were in your position, I'd shout at them and tell them how much I despise them, how much they've hurt me. But you, you did the right thing."

Ross gives off a small smile. "I don't know what to do now. I may have handled it before, but I feel like anytime soon, I'll explode."

Alexa puts her hand on her chin. "Hmm... I've got an idea!" She says confidently. "You can't be rude to them, because that'll only make you look bad. And you can't fire them, because you're too unreasonable. So instead, just show them how successful you are, show them how far you've gone. Make them regret leaving you. Show them who's in a better position now, like man, they work for you!" Alexa says.

Ross nods after absorbing everything that Alexa said.

"You're right. I may have reasons to be mad, but I also have reasons to be proud of myself..." Ross trails off. "I just don't get how they don't recognize me. How can they not realize that I'm their brother?"

"Well, looking back six years ago, you've changed a lot Ross. Not only physically, but even within. And that's for the better. Leave it to them, don't tell them that you're Ross Lynch. Show them." Alexa winks.

"Then after?" Ross raises his eyebrows.

"After getting close to them and making them realize who you really are, leave them like what they did to you. Remind them that for you, they're just your musicians. Nothing more, nothing less." Alexa says.

Ross sighs. "Thanks Alexa. I guess all I needed was your advice." He smiles.

"Always here for you mah man," Alexa gives her best friend a hug.

"I'll do what you said. They will regret leaving me."
