"Thanks for dropping me off. Thanks for everything." Alexa says as she gets out of the car.

Ross waves goodbye to Alexa, and starts to drive.

"I don't like what your planning." Ella says, turning to Ross.

"C'mon. Riker deserves it. And we haven't even started yet," Ross says.

Ella shakes her head. "Aren't you getting too deep into this revenge thing? I understand that you've been hurt a lot, even Alexa, but hurting them too wouldn't make a difference." She finishes off.

Ross runs his hands through his blonde hair. "It will make a difference. Because they'll finally feel what we've been through."

"But it wouldn't make you feel better either. Your consience will haunt you." Ella says, pursuading him.

Ross sighs. "If you were in my place, you'd do the same."

Ella decides to stay quiet, knowing she can't change Ross' mind anyway. Soon, they were in front of the Ratliff's house.

"I'm still hoping you'll change your mind." Ella says, hoping off the car. "Are you sure you don't want to go home yet? You know you don't have to live at your condo all by yourself," She adds.

"I'm fine. Plus, mom would just convince me to not continue the concert." Ross sighs.

"Alright then. By the way, aren't you forgetting anything?" Ella raises her eyebrow.

Ross' forehead creases. "What?"

"It's mom's birthday tomorrow. She's gonna have a little gathering, please come by." Ella says, rolling her eyes.

"I knew that." Ross chuckled. "And yeah, I'll be there." He says, waving goodbye.

"Okay. I won't tell mom, it'll be a surprise. Bye," Ella waves as well.

Then, Ross drives his way home.

Next Morning

"You ready?" Ross asks Alexa, before entering their rehearsal room.

"Yup." Alexa takes a deep breath, then takes Ross' hand.

"Remember we're a couple, ayt?" Ross intertwines his fingers with Alexa's.

"Fake couple." Alexa clears out. "Hope this goes well," She sighs.

Then, they enter the room. As they do, Riker's eyes land on them, who are being all sweet and clingy. It wasn't hard for Ross and Alexa since they were close friends anyway.

"Let's start?" Ross asks.

"Y-yeah." Riker says, feeling a pinch in his heart as Alexa gives Ross a peck on the cheek.

Rydel, Rocky and Ellington agree as well, getting ready.

As they start to rehearse, it was pretty obvious that Riker wasn't focused. He forgot some of the chords multiple times now. He was bugged by the fact that Ross and Alexa were together. Well, atleast he thought so.

"What's wrong Riker?" Ross asks, almost in a teasing tone.

"S-sorry, I just need a break." Riker says, making his way outside.

Ross silently chuckles, glancing at Alexa who was holding in a grin.

"I'll go follow Riker," Ross announces, as he starts to walk.
