"Hey, how was your day, baby?" You asked Calum over the phone.

"Fine, yours?" He asked with very little emotion.

"It was okay. Would've been better if you were here, though." You said looking out the window. For the first time that day, you noticed it was raining.

You hear Calum sign," Mine would've been better with you too, baby girl. Wish you could be here with me." His voice sounded painful, his tone was dull. As if what he said was scripted, as if he was forced to say it.

"I wish I could be there too. Maybe-" You were about to suggest flying over to where he was, but he cut you off.

"Look, I- Uh. I have to go talk to you later." He said, his voice sounding eager to hang up.

"Okay, Can we Skype tomorrow? For your birthday?" You asked him, hoping he would say yes.

"Um, I don't know. I have a very busy day tomorrow, not sure we can't talk tomorrow either." He rushed out.

"Okay, um. How about tonight, can we Skype then?" You asked him, again hoping he would say yes.

"Look, I really have to go. I'll talk to you some other time, okay." He sounded angry at you.

"Okay, I love you." You whispered, defeated. After you finished, he just hung up. You were hurt, and confused.

You should've seen what he was doing behind your back. And you suspected it too, you just didn't want to believe. So instead you blamed the distance, it was simply because you were at home and he was across the world. So that night, you flew across the world.

Once you arrived, you got your bags and went to call a taxi. After you gave the man the name of the taxi, you tried to call Calum, but he didn't pick up.

Weird, you thought.

Shaking all the thoughts and theories about why he didn't pick out of your head, you tried calling all of the other boys, but they didn't pick up either.

Maybe they're still asleep. They have been working a lot lately. Or that's what Calum told you.

"Ma'am, we're here." The driver brought you out of your thoughts.

"Thank you, here. Keep you the change." You said as you handed him the money.

Once you got you bags out of the trunk and the driver drove away, you walked inside the hotel. You paid for a room and got your key.

Once again you attempted to call Calum, with no luck. You then tried the rest of the boys, and none of them picked up.

Lost and confused, you walked to the elevator. Once it opened you saw a confused and scared Luke.

"Hey, I've tried to call you twice, why didn't you pick up?" You asked him as you stepped onto the elevator.

"Um-I-I-Uh... I just woke up?" He said, but it sounded more like a questioned.

"You sure? You don't sound so sure. Besides it takes nearly an hour to get ready, and it doesn't even look like you got up." You turned to look at him, while you pointed at the buttons, indicating that he needed to choose the floor.

"Uh," He stepped forward and reached for the button with the 5 on it, but instead he decided to push all of them.

"What the hell Luke! What was that for?" You turned to him, and in that moment he swore he was dead. The look on his faced was one that only some trying to hide would have. He was worried, scared, confused, but most of all, guilty.
