Saturday night came along and you were probably the only person not going to prom. You admit, you do regret your decision of not going, but there was nothing you could do now. So instead of crying over the fact that you actually never had a chance with someone you now realize you were in love with and most importantly your one and only friend, you decided to watch a series of movies that would make you cry your heart out.

Laid out in front of you were three movies you found in you sisters room, 'The Notebook', of course she'd have that, 'P.S. I Love You', and 'A Walk To Remember'. You realized that not crying was a bad idea when you entered your sister's room so you picked up the three movies you were sure to make anyone cry as an excuse.

Right when you were going to put in 'A Walk To Remember' into the DVD your mom walked in.

"Are you sure you don't want to go, honey?" Your mom asked looking at you and your choice of clothing for the night.

"There's nothing I can do now mom. I don't have anything to wear" You put in the movie and went to sit down on the couch.

"What if..."Your mom trailed off, walking in front of the t.v.

"What if what?" You looked at her curiously. You motioned to her to move a bit to the side so you could see the screen.

Rolling her eyes, she moved to the side, just enough for you to see part of the screen.

"Mom, please. I'm trying to watch a movie and cry myself to sleep." Your eyes widen at the last part that you let slip out.

She looked at you with curiously eyes but they quickly filled with excitement.

"Get up."She commanded, turning of the t.v.

"Mom!?"You whined, refusing to get up.

"Come on, get up!" She pulled you up and up to your room.

"Mom, what are you doing?" You asked confused.

All she said was,"Wait here," and she left the room.

You huffed and sat on your bed. You took out your phone and started to play music.

After a couple of songs, your mom came into the room with three bags.

"What's that?" You eyed all three bags curiously.

"This," she took out the first item from the first bag,"is," the second item from the second bag were the heels your mom was planning on getting after she got the mask,"your outfit to prom." The third and final item was a beautiful dress that you'd never seen before.

"Mom, where did you get that dress?" You stood up and went to hold the dress in your hands. It was simple but yet it was so beautiful.

"I told you i knew someone who could make you a dress." She smiled at you. "Well hurry up so you can actually have time to get to prom, I want you here before midnight." She quickly left the room so you could get dressed.

Once you were finished putting on the dress and the high heels you put on a coat of your favorite mascara and some soft pink lip gloss.

"Mom! Can you help me put on the mask!" You yelled out your door.

Waiting for her to come in you looked at the mask and saw something engraved on it.

'Because every girl deserves to feel like a princess' was engraved in very tiny letters on the inside, where your eyebrow would be. You smiled at the thought that your mom got it personally engraved. It was something you would always say, since you were a little girl.
