Third Person POV

"Hey... it's really good to see you."

The tall man's voice was warm as he approached Jisoo in the hallway of their new set: college campus.

Jisoo turned, slightly startled. "Oh! Eunwoo... it's been a while. It's nice to see you too."

She had known Eunwoo since her early debut days. They were never particularly close, but due to his handsome face and despite Jisoo's fierce and rude personality from the past, she couldn't help but be nice to the gentleman since day 1.

"I'm really looking forward to our scenes together," Eunwoo said with a bright smile.

Before she could reply, a staff member hurried over. "Filming starts in five."

Jisoo bowed politely, but as she straightened, her eyes drifted past the staff member and froze.

At the far end of the hallway stood Taehyung.

He was watching her.

There was something unreadable in his gaze, something intense, something she couldn't quite place. It lingered just long enough to make her chest tighten.

Jisoo quickly looked away.

Whatever it was... she didn't want to dwell on it.

"I'm looking forward to working with you too, Eunwoo." Jisoo smiled back.

At this point of the drama, Jisoo and Taehyung, in college, are just close friends since high school. They were inseparable yet they were painfully too shy to confess their feelings for one another.

Eunwoo's character, on the other hand, was Jisoo's charming college project partner. Persistent, kind, and openly affectionate, he brought a new dynamic into her life, one that was meant to push Taehyung's character to finally confront his emotions.

He was the epitome of the term, second male lead syndrome.

"Okay, camera's in position! Everyone ready?" the director called out.

The scenes between Jisoo and Eunwoo unfolded effortlessly.

In one, they sat side by side in the campus library, whispering and laughing over shared notes. Eunwoo leaned closer, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear as part of the scene. Jisoo laughed softly, staying in character, but just beyond the camera's frame, Taehyung stood rigid.

His jaw tightened.

"Cut! That was great!" the director praised.

But Taehyung didn't move.

Another scene had them walking across campus under falling cherry blossoms. Eunwoo reached for Jisoo's hand, scripted, natural, romantic.

She let him take it.

From a distance, Taehyung watched again, his expression darkening.

A staff member nudged him. "You're up next."

"Yeah," he muttered, but his eyes never left them.

The tension built with every take.

Small glances. Subtle hesitations. Moments where Taehyung lingered too long, spoke too sharply, or fell too quiet.

No one said anything outright, but everyone felt it.

Then came that scene.

Jisoo and Eunwoo stood alone in a quiet classroom after sunset. The script was clear: Eunwoo's character would confess, step closer... and a kiss. The kiss was supposed to make Jisoo's character realize she had feelings for Taehyung all along.
