Hello everyone,
So much time has passed since I started this story and I'm sure many of y'all are surprised I actually came back and finished this story. If I'm going to be honest, when I started writing this story again back in Nov 2025 (if you follow me on twitter, you'd know I started writing again), I was lost because it felt like so much time had passed that I don't even remember the emotions I felt when I initially started this story, the creative juices I had for this story was gone. So I ultimately decided not to write anymore.
Then... fast forward to 2026, I opened my twitter account and saw a couple people reply to the tweet I previously tweeted back in Nov still waiting for me to upload chapters. So, I made it a new years resolution to finish this story. I re-read my story, and found my old notes regarding the story outline I had for this story. Unfortunately the outline wasn't complete and so I had to fill in the gaps that were missing in the storyline, which was the hardest part.
2020 tahlia may have written a different story than the 2026 tahlia, but I hope regardless of that, you guys still enjoyed Scandal. The story still unfolded the way I envisioned it, with just some tweaks.
My biggest fear coming back was the thought of nobody even caring about vsoo/this story anymore. I kept thinking why waste my time and energy finishing this story if nobody is even reading them anymore. Yes, it was weird to go from thousands of readers/hundreds of votes to barely thirty votes per chapter, but seeing everyones constant messages and support, it still motivated me to continue. I hope you all know that I was only able to finish this story because of you all. Thank you for never giving up on this story and myself.
