Third Person POV
"Just how many lingerie sets do you need to buy, Jisoo?" Irene complained. It had been almost three hours since they started shopping, and it felt like the day would never end.
"You do know it's my day off today, right? I don't need to be here," Irene added dramatically.
"Oh, come on, Unnie. Even if you're my manager, you're practically my sister. Hanging out with me shouldn't count as work," Jisoo fired back.
And Jisoo wasn't wrong, after all, Irene had known her since the day she was born.
"I'm uncomfortable seeing you buy all this raunchy lingerie. As your older sister, I don't condone this behaviour," Irene said with disapproval dripping from her voice.
They were in the most expensive lingerie boutique in a Gangnam department store. Obviously because Jisoo was preparing for her upcoming anniversary trip with Taehyung.
"I have to look my best, Unnie. It's been over a month since I last saw Taehyung. I need to make sure I serve and don't disappoint." Jisoo winked.
"No wonder you've been going to Pilates every day," Irene muttered.
"Duh, Unnie! These washboard abs are made to catch his babies, if you know what I mean." Jisoo smirked, fully aware that Irene, the conservative, possibly never even had a boyfriend, was absolutely dying inside.
"YAH!" Irene smacked her arm. "Don't make me imagine your crazy bedroom fiascos! Keep that to yourself!"
"Just don't get pregnant, Jisoo," Irene warned seriously. Jisoo was too young, and her career too fragile for that kind of scandal. Korea wasn't exactly forgiving, especially toward celebrities dealing with premarital pregnancy.
"Don't worry, Unnie. I'm on birth control. You already know that."
"Still, be careful. You can't trust those pills too much," Irene nagged.
"Yeah, yeah, I heard you. Don't worry, I'll make you the godmother if it happens." Jisoo stuck her tongue out and walked away triumphantly.
But she wasn't looking ahead and continued walking—until her forehead slammed into something solid.
"Oww..." she groaned, rubbing her head.
"Yah! Watch where you're going!" she snapped instinctively before she bothered to look up.
The moment her eyes met the person she bumped into, her entire expression changed.
"O–" Her eyes widened. "Oppa?"
"Hi, Jisoo," Yoongi said shyly.
He glanced at Jisoo, then at Irene behind her, then back at Jisoo. His face began warming up, unnoticed by both.
"How could you yell at a stranger like that?" Yoongi joked lightly, trying to hide his embarrassment.
Jisoo raised an eyebrow. "It was your fault for bumping into me. Of course I'd yell. And you're not a stranger."
"What are you doing here?" he asked.
Jisoo laughed. "Shouldn't I be asking you that?" She pointed around the very obvious lingerie boutique.
Yoongi froze. His face, already red, darkened even further.
Irene laughed in the background.
"I was looking at the men's section on the other side and... I saw you were here... so I came to say hi," he explained awkwardly.
Jisoo smirked, clearly not buying it. "Are you sure it wasn't for something else?"
Yoongi cleared his throat.
