"I don't think I can do that." I confessed to the doctor.

She shook her head. "Bed rest is the only option. Your second baby has been behind in his development. It's the least you can do to help him grow." She smiled.

"What happens if I don't do this?" I asked.

"Your second baby could develop some sort of disorder, or a deficiency or a missing body part if you're unlucky." She stated, enumerating the flaws that my future baby could possess.

I swallow the lump in my throat. "Hey, Kit Kat, I think you should stay in bed for the rest of the pregnancy." Scott said.

I nodded. "Shouldn't have asked that." I said.

She chuckled. "Well, you have to know the possibilities." She wrote down some things on a piece of paper and handed it to me. "Okay, so three weeks on bed rest, no standing for a long time until you're due."

I nodded. "Let's hope I can stay in bed that long." I huffed before placing the paper inside my bag.

~ two weeks later ~

"Kirstie, you need to calm down!" Scott panicked as I ran around the house, wearing only his loose sweater.

"Scott. I have to do something. I'm going to go crazy if I don't!" I replied.

Thank goodness Scarlett was at school right now.

He finally caught up to me and lifted me up, carrying me towards the master bedroom. He drops me on the bed and makes sure I stayed put.

"Stay. Put." He said firmly, keeping my hands away from me.

Scary Scott is scary.

I gulped, then nodded to the irritated blonde on top of me. He sighs then lets go of his grip on my wrists. I wince at the rough touch.

He gets out of the bed and puts a tank top on. He grabbed his iPod from the dresser and heads out. "I'm going for a jog." He stated before I the door shut.

Okay, what was that? I ask myself.

I call Mitch to ask if he knew what was up.

Mitchy?

Yes, Maldonado.

Do you know what's happening with Scott?

The other line felt silent, all but the ruffling of sheets were heard.

Not really. What's going on?

He's been acting, strange. Aggressive even. I have no idea what's gotten into him.

I don't know..... Maybe it's because of the twins, you think? He's never dealt with kids before, maybe it's just scaring him.

I nod. His reason was pretty accurate. Scott was never someone who was a huge fan of kids. He wanted kids, but, I don't know.

Do you think I should tell him that it's okay for him to leave once the babies are born?

Jesus Christ, Kirstin don't you dare even think about it! He loves the twins just as much as you do. Like I said, maybe he just thinks he isn't ready when we both know he's more than ready.

I'll just talk to him about it, I guess.

Yes, Kirstie. But don't bring up you suggesting to let him leave. You're an angel Kit Kat, but don't be painfully good.

Alright. Thanks Mitchie.

Anything.

Oh, and Mitch?

Yeah?

I know what you and Avi are doing. Use protection!

You little-

I hung up before he could finish his sentence.

"Goodnight," Scarlett whispered, cuddling next to her stuffed toys all around her. Scott and I quietly exited the room and headed to our own.

I talked to him earlier before about the situation. Mitch was, as always, was right. He was freaking out because I'm so close to my due.

He held my hand and brought me close to him and kissed me. "I'm sorry I scared you earlier. I forgot you and your hormones pop up from time to time." He apologized.

"That's fine, I know you're worried, so am I. But we should be excited." I smiled, clutching my hands on Scott's muscular arms. "One more week until they're finally here. We can finally meet them."

"Finally." He breathed, placing his hands on my stomach. He smiled then looked at me. "I can see them, we can see them."

I smile, my tears watering at how beautiful the scenery is, seeing him all excited just made me even more excited.

All of a sudden I heard a very faint pop and the feeling of warm liquid going down my legs fast.

"Sc-Scott. My water just broke."

~

It's showtime. *cracks knuckles*
