*2 years later*

~Scott~

"Wow, ya'll are the craziest crowd!" I scream into my microphone, feeling the adrenaline go through my veins as the crowd roared back.

"Well, today is my last show on tour...." I tell the crowd, "So I wanted it to be extra special for you guys." 

"As you may know, today is actually more important than normal days are. Why? Because it's my birthday." I inform, "I'm 26 today! Gosh, I'm old." I comment, causing everyone to laugh.

All of a sudden, the crowd starts to sing 'Happy Birthday' together.

"Awwww guys!" I say. My opening act 'Us The Duo' started singing and playing the chords of the seasonal song. I hug them tight in gratitude.

After all of that, I thanked them for the sweet gesture.

"That was wonderful! All of you are such great singers! But, I'm going to do something pretty cool. I'm very excited to do this. Can I please call up my wonderful girlfriend and our beautiful children!"

Kirstie is shocked, as she watched me behind the stage with the twins and Scarlett. Esther, my tour manager, and close friend, pushes my girlfriend onto the stage in a tank top, skinnies, and no makeup. She must feel really insecure right now.

"Scott, what's happening? I'm not wearing makeup!" She asks through the microphone given to her by the crew.

I take her hand and pull her in for a hug and gently kiss her on the forehead. "I want to tell you something."

Scarlett and her two other siblings run up to the stage, Marvel running up to me and reaching his arms up to me "Up!"

"Alright, buddy." I chuckled and took him in my arms. Carter ran around the stage, waving at the teenage girls in the front row.

"So, I just wanted to tell you that I love you. We have 3 incredible children, a life that couldn't be happier, and we have each other. The past 3 years back together had all of my favorite moments in life. The birth of our twin boys, a more than successful collaboration album, and the most caring and supportive people around us every step of the way.

"There's so much more to say, but I'd much rather sing it out. Michael? Carissa?" I ask and they nod in response, Michael playing the first bars of the song.

"If summer is for lovers then consider me in love.
  I found the one oh I found the one that I've been
  dreaming of."

"If friends are what you're looking for consider me a friend.
But I'll break apart and take your heart before this story ends."

I set down Marvel and take Kirstin's hand and dance her around, smiling as we both fail.

"Dating for the fun of it is no longer my game
  I'll take all your lovers and put 'em all to shame
  Don't compare love in the air to anyone before
  'Cause when you find the one you've been dreaming of
  You will hurt no more
  This is the part where you check yes or yes"

I mimic myself writing a check mark and bring her closer to me. I tilt her head up and give her soft lips a gentle kiss.

I tell my fellow musicians' to skip the chorus, and get straight into business.

I let go, and take out a very special velvet box. I slowly go down on one knee, causing everyone to scream. Everyone takes their phones out as I continue.

"We've been together for a while now and every day seems new
  You know it when you know it and I always knew with you"

I pull out the box over, exposing a beautiful diamond ring I picked out for her. Kirstie's eyes start to water as she cupped her beautiful face. 

  I'm down here on my knee and never felt so right
  When I come back up I'll call you mine
  'Till the end of time"

The music slowly dies down, leaving everyone speechless as I start to talk.

"I've loved you ever since Freshman year up until today and forevermore. I trust you with  all my heart and will promise not to screw up ever again. I'm yours forever and until the end of time. If you just let me, can I finally make you mine?"

"Is that even a question?! Yes!"
