KIRSTIE'S POV
"Kit-Kat, wake up babe." Scott whispered in my ear lightly shaking my shoulder.
I push his hands away and cover my face with the pillow. "Go away." I groaned. He pulled the blanket off my body, attempting to get me out of bed. Please emphasize the word attempt.
I just turn to the side, my long shirt crumpled up and my gigantic belly showing through the thin fabric. "It won't work." I remind him, snuggling closer to the pillow next to me.
"You don't want to have your favorite mac and cheese for your 23rd birthday? Alright, I'll just tell Scarlett she can have it." Scott said before walking towards the door.
My eyes shot open in realization and sat up quickly. It's my birthday! How could I forget?
"I forgot! Thanks for reminding me." I thanked before getting out of bed (finally.) But before I could exit the room, Scott pulled me in and lifted me up as he gave me a tight hug.
I squealed. "Scott! The kids!" I warned. He just chuckled and carefully set me down. He hugged my waist lightly and lifting my chin up. "Happy birthday honey." He greeted, smiling. He pulled me in for a long, passionate kiss which ended with me breathless. Holy crap.... that was one hell of a kiss.
"Thanks Dip-Dot." I thank again before we went downstairs to be greeted by Scarlett eating a bowl of delicious looking mac and cheese.
"Happy Birthday Mommy!" She said before running up to me and hugging my lower body tight. "I made a gift!" She squealed before handing me a uneven cut paper folded in half with glitter, everywhere.
It said 'Happy Birthday Mommy!' in front with her drawing of our small family and very big belly. It was decorated with blue glitter and 3D butterfly and crown stickers.
Hi Mommy!
Thank you for being the best Mommy ever!!!! Thank you for loving me all the time and buying me Starbucs! I love you Mommy!
love,
Scarlett Hoying <3
I immediately pull my daughter up for a tight hug, tears threatened to the fall as the feeling overwhelmed me. I hate being hormonal.
"Thank you so much Angel, I love you." I smiled to my daughter.
"Okay, you know what, let's eat some breakfast, shall we?" Scott suggested as we headed to the breakfast table.

"Happy Birthday, by the way." Dr.Gibbins greeted as she waved the wand around my stomach. I thanked her before keeping all our eyes on the screen. "Now, let's see what your two boys are up to."
"Not trouble maybe." Scott joked.
"Well, they do look normal, except for one thing." She said, zooming in onto one of the twins. She squinted her eyes as she studied him.
"Is there anything wrong, Miss Gibbins?" Kirstie asked with concern. She held onto my hand tighter as she slightly sat up.
"It isn't an uncommon case with multiples, but nothing to worry so much about." She told us, calming my girlfriend down.
"You see, your twin number two is slightly behind on growth. It isn't an uncommon problem, but we need to be more alert with this. But I don't want you to worry about anything on your birthday." She informed us.
"Are there any things we, I need to do to help number two? Should there be any symptoms that I need to inform you or something?" She asked.
"Not much. Just make sure to eat more and drink as many water as you can. That's all you need to do, and loads of stretch mark cream." She reminded as she helped me clean up the gel on my stomach.
