Chloe's POV:

I ran through my dance again and again, in Studio C. I was gone the entire week, practically. I missed Maddie, I was up to my knees in homework, and I had a competition tomorrow. I launched into a big turn sequence, and ended with a side aerial to one knee. I finished with both knees on the ground, staring at the audience. My piece was called Searching For You. It's abut searching for that perfect guy, the one that makes you feel happy. I liked it. I also loved my duet with Josh. Josh decided to start dancing again three years ago. He had fallen in love with it. I was happy he had, too, because now I see him before school, during school, and after school.

I heard the door open, and Gia walked in.

"Hey, Bird." She said. I could tell her face was still a little red from crying.

"What's up, Gi?" I asked.

"Abby ants you all in A for a private rehearsal, and I'm supposed to come with."

"Ok, I'll be in in a minute." I said, and Gia popped out of view. I went, and got I drink. I bit back my tears as I walked past Maddie's usual spot, right next to Paige and I. Paige was sitting down, crying.

"Paigey, it will be ok! Don't worry." I said, sitting next to her. I rubbed her back, as she cried into my shoulder.

"N-no it's not! O-o-our Maddawg has leukemia! Sh-she's going to die!" Paige wailed.

"Paige, calm down, it will be ok. Maddie will be fine. She's probably a match with Kenzie!" I soothed.

"O-o-ok." Paige took I deep breath, and gave me a hug, saying "Thank you, Chlobird."

"Your welcome, Twinnie." I said, and walked into Studio A. I loved Paigey, and I had gotten my share of tears on her clothes, but this was my new OXYjEN top! It was the one with little things around the straps, and it was white and lime green striped, with green little wraps around the straps. The bootie shorts were lime green. My blond hair was pulled up in a French braid, tied off with a lime green feather clip.

"Chloe, how are you doing?" Abby asked, oddly sympathetic.

"Good." I said, shrugging.

"Ok. Now, we are going to run this dance. Act it out."

"Ok." I said, nodding. I smiled, and we started the dance. Miss Abby said that I did amazing. She gave me a few corrections, and we ran it again and again. I was so glad to finally have all of Abby's attention, but then I remembered why. That made me sad, again. I missed Maddie more than anything. Eventually, we were done, so I went into my tap class. I was hit with another wave of sadness when I remembered how this was Maddie's favorite style. 'Stop!' I told myself. I can't think of her like she's dead. She's alive. She will live... Right?
